I'm impressed. Stage productions rarely translate to video well so I bet it was ten times better live. I have to say, I chuckled when I figured out who Dolly was. Her costume was very nice but I kinda thought it looked like the Countess Aurelia ("Dear World"/"The Madwoman of Chaillot") was staring in "Hello Dolly." Would have been interesting seeing her, and Ms. McNeela's, interpretation of Dolly Levy. Good or not-so-good, this chorus was phenomenal. It can be difficult just to get them all to remain in character and SMILE!!! ... which is probably my biggest pet peeve when it comes to choruses but no one drew my attention way from the ensemble piece. And Michael ... EXCELLENT choreography in the absence of rolling a huge steam engine out on stage!!!
This is so well done. Great choreo, vocals and orch. I saw the 2019 national tour and the sopranos did NOT hit the high C (I was waiting for it, it is a thrill) but this cast did. Thanks for the thrill.
What a voice Cornelius has! Great direction and choreography! I love the large chorus and their entrance is wonderful with that walk they do. Beautiful tableaus with the parisols-excellent!
This is my favorite song from the musical, and this troupe knocked it out of the park. The way more - and more - and more people just keep coming out onto the stage and the everything builds and builds ... sure, some of that was the composer Jerry Herman, but the staging here is just wonderful!
FANTASTIC! What beautiful harmonies, what lovely in-sync choreography, what a stunning orchestra, what a wonderful ensemble. The costumes and lighting, a beautiful glow. Heartwarming. And the actor playing Cornelius (Jake Smith) really needs to be discovered, not to mention what a terrific complement Andrew Purdy is as Barnaby; those two guys are super professional and play off each other beautifully. Brought tears to my eyes how enrapturing this number was.
Saw the divine Miss M in Hello Dolly a week before Christmas. The audience loved her! Costumes and sets wonderful. I was one of the lucky people who got to shake her hand after the show, and I was thrilled. Wonderful to see the respect shown to her not only by the audience but by the members of the cast. I was in Manhattan visiting my son. I live in Maine. Bette Midler was definitely the highlight of my trip to New York. She was wonderful!
I've seen Bette Midler twice in this show. Wonderful! I would not be surprised to see many of the performers in this production end up on Broadway. Excellent show. Congrats to the director and cast.
What a lovely number. Miss the train a little, and there were some sound issues in this transmission; but great costumes, set change, staging. The Cornelius and Barnaby were really good.
Having seen 8 productions of this (2 pro ) this is the slickest I've seen or heard. Chorus work, both vocal and choreographic , is excellent. Simple but hugely effective...and everyone is 'on'.
OMIGAAAwwWWwWD! I love this. I fell in love with the ensemble! That was the best staged "Put On Your Sunday Clothes" I've seen. I'm a real aficionado of this show and a professional director/choreographer and I've seen lots of versions of this song. I actually got chills. I clicked subscribe mid song. Oh! And the vocal coaching was amazing. I could hear those harmonies and pick out all the parts yet it blended so well. Amaze Balls!
Just as Warren Carlyle did with the current Broadway Dolly, Michael Jablonski preserved much of Gower Champion's original vision of the number - especially the lovely townspeople parade moving from upstage right to down stage left and around the orchestra. I always wonder how the train will be accomplished in small production and Jablonski finds a magnificent alternative to a cardboard train with the tight staggered rows of his large chorus. Bravo!
I saw this tand it was absolutely phenomenal. I am a booker for a large U.K. theatre group and would have put this show into any of our theatres. Sunday Clothes far outweighed any performance I have seen.

Can’t listen to this without thinking “Wall-E!!!”
Nah. Hello Dolly is a classic.
Bro same

😂
Oh that's so cool how they mimic the train! With the umbrellas as the wheels!
Wooo ! The pipes on those first two guys ! Sheesh !! 🤩

Literally brings tears to my eyes. Fantastic song and glorious performance. Only theatre can do that. Open them up again.

It’s seriously impossible to feel bad while listening to this song/watching this
the wall-e nostalgia is unexplainable....
What a beautiful production!!! The men changing sides is so simple yet so wonderful! Job very well done to all!!
Excellent! A very moving performance.
Yes Andrew! Congratulations! Can't believe this was choreographed around an open pit!
Amazing performance! Best school performance of "Put on Your Sunday Clothes" I've seen! Wish I could see the whole show!
This isn’t a school it’s a theater
@@amandanelson339 No, it's a school. Elon University.

WOW Vocals, dance/movement..... natural and inspiring. Well done guys
This was a terrific performance of this number. I've seen professional touring companies who weren't this good.
Very well done with the exception of Dolly and Ermengarde's disastrous costumes.
Really good! And a relevant message for today with most people dressing down.
Well, now nobody can listen to this without thinking about a postapocalyptic world with a little trash tank robot. I love this!

Cornelius has a marvelous voice!
Wow, great job guys! Nailed it!
“I know that song... their *DANCING* “
Define dancing
Ended off with a BANG! Love it, guys!
I am in love with this wow! Everyone sounds fantastic and the choreo is amazing !!
Just saw the show on Broadway with Bernadette Peters. This cast has as much heart and talent as their cast.
Great performances by all!
That was well done!
Wonderful performance, beautiful trained voices!!!
Simply phenomenal!!! Outstanding cast and chorus!

well done!!! huge chorus..... hard to hear Dolly - but excellent staging.... and well rehearsed too ... no one looked unsure
Saw the show at Elon! Entire cast was amazing and there was no difficulty hearing Dolly. Perhaps there was a mic problem when this one was videoed
UHHHH THIS IS GORGEOUS
Beautiful. Magnificent performance 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
This is wonderful!! 💖
So well done! A joy to watch and listen to!
A masterpiece of song.
Kudos to the orchestra and chorus.

It isn't a train. Remember "we haven't missed the train thank the Lord" All Dollys and Ambrose have entered this way
I'm talking about the end of the number. You actually hear the train in the orchestration. Check out the video from the 94 Broadway revival.
Cornelius and Barnaby could hardly have been better cast. Classy production, great voices in the chorus.
I saw this tand it was absolutely phenomenal. I am a booker for a large U.K. theatre group and would have put this show into any of our theatres. Sunday Clothes far outweighed any performance I have seen.
FABULOUS!!!!!!
My favorite! So impressive in every way.
Really lovely.
Wow! I thought this was an off-Broadway cast. Amazing!
How wonderful!!
My university is doing this next semester, I can hardly wait to start rehearsals.
This was beautifully staged! Would have loved to see it live.
DEEEE-lightful! Wonderfully staged & performed - Kudos!
Nicely done!
Hopefully someday I'll be able to afford a ticket to broadway NY and watch this at full color
Excellent!
I saw this show in April at a local civic theater my friends Brady and Dustin were Barnaby and Cornelius
*camera zooms in to brown-ish earth*
Hello mr mastermind
Wow!
Well done. That’s a lot of people on stage.
This looks amazing
The role of Cornelius who starts this song was sung by Charles Nelson Reilly in the original production !
Wall-e has entered the chat
Ps where I live ! Old Jazz and Blues and swing are the clubs that are packed out !! Young mainly ! 👀😍
Wow what a huge cast.
Amazing production!! Just saw it on Broadway and your performance is phenomenal!! :) Can you post more of the show?

I agree, thought she was great and had no problems hearing her.

Danny's Domain Dolly in this actually sounds more like a soprano
