interesting that both the player and the shrines AND the structures are mossy cobblestone... almost as if the portals are made directly for the player. or perhaps they're built from the player's memories? interesting that we're also getting structures with proper interiors for the first time in a while. no more false doors...
im not caught up on absolutelly every video on the channel but i love how this is building up to be an interconnected series i love how vague it is about the going ons in-universe here, we dont really know ifthis is a person living in the minecraft world or if this is a player of the game, but i just live this vibe of exploration weird enviroments with no real central thing to find, just strange locales you would moreso dream aboutthan acrually find in minecraft in that way the vibes are super simmilar to yume nikki to me (i mightve said this somewhere here already, i dont remember) one video focusing on one world, getting lost there, seeing all the different strange sigths, sometimes going somewhere else by the end of the video and sometimes staying there until next time... just.. hell yeah man i love stuff like this, the 'exploration of the unknown' vibes are REAL i also love how this series may serve to popularisesome lesser known c418 tracks since most ppl only know minecraft ost haha edit: another thing this reminds me of is the begginers guide. a game where you explore worlds that the game tells you WERE constructed by a game developer and doesnt hide it, and yet they can feel scary and surrealand immersive anyway, very simmilar to this...
I want to understand. I blocked it off because it scared me. I was afraid of getting lost. I had finally found my way home, and I was afraid that it would take that from me. That it would take me somewhere else, and I would be back to wandering again. I'm not afraid anymore. There are patterns to how it works. Rules. I want to figure them out. This is the first time I've made it work myself. I didn't find this one, I _made_ it. I have some level of control over the system. It's not arbitrary. And maybe, just maybe, I can learn to navigate it.
I have a theory that there might be more than one moss man (player) since this iteration of him is actively interacting with mossy cobblestone whereas the other moss men seemed to fear its dimension invading power. UNLESS this is earlier in the timeline where the moss man discovered its properties for the second time, but now he uses it in a much more careful way due to a past incident.
this has gotta be directly after the last video though since the portal is still covered with bricks and the lighthouse is built. maybe it's not that there's multiple of them, but that the player is now fed up with the dimension-invading shenanigans and is now actively investigating instead of being fearful/ignoring it and hoping it goes away? would also explain the chest with a bunch of different materials -- doing trial and error to see what happens, as opposed to an entity that knows what the portals are and knows how to control them
@@TurtlesPancake That would make sense but now that i think of it, im pretty sure the only time we see the player actively exploring mossy cobblestones power is when we see his hand which is mossy cobblestone, which could imply that the fearful player might be running from it or him

oh wow, such a long one. ❤ what caused you to decide to embark again on such perilous quests? those portals never seem to go where you want. i always love the idea of loading into a world and there already being a history. like... ive found the ruins of an old try at community. where once people used these structures (i usually built) as places for life. this gives me that feeling. also, i truly wonder now about the worlds Space enters. their rules. they take care not to disturb them as best they can. it is an odd reverence. one i find touching ❤
i doubt it, i think this is more simmilar to a modern form of a minecraft machinima or one of those series where skmeone plays the game with friends or y themself but still roleplays and tells a story along the way sothere is a story being told here, just probablly not an arg
C418's album 148 might be my most favourite
Glad 148 is getting some love
I ought to thank you for introducing me to C418s other music, I've never listened to them outside of the minecraft soundtracks. Thanks!

Aria Science when?
Ya sabes las Matemáticas. Ahora estudiemos Economía!
Mate would have a field day with Mystcraft
Favorite mod back when i played tekkit
I never would have thought you would use a track from 148 because of the night club vibe clashes with the eerie videos. It's pretty neat nonetheless!
This texturepack makes it look like Minetest

I love this song!!! from the 148 album! Right after drieton, I think. Looking forward to seeing more from that album, if you decide to do them!
I'm hoping the creator also does a few songs from the One album! Would love to see the world for Cliffside hinison or Weirdest Year of Your Life.

How do you choose which music corresponds to the video?
c418 music thats not used in minecraft, and fits the emotion or story the video / place is supposed to represent
@@vxzcvzThey have used c418 music that’s in the game before though
