I'm loving how this weird little world is developing. These pits almost feel like a trap, designed to look like buildings and pose a facade of civilization, but once you're close enough to realize the "windows" are just shallow holes in the wall, you're already in too deep to climb out and you're only path is down farther, with reluctance growing every level you descend. And I love how you paced it in such a way that the end of the track reflects the panic of being at the very edge with nothing but the void farther down, knowing you will eventually succumb to the instinct that lured you there in the first place.
Man that progression of the shadows getting more and more erratic and geometrically impossible is a great effect. Deeply disconcerting both just on it's own merits, and because I don't think I've ever seen that effect done before
shadows tend to bug if the player is getting too far from the spawn, which means - closer to the edge of the world this effect may symbolize the player moving closer to the end of the world
@@Cheeseman709 im pretty sure hes talking along the lines of floating point number inaccuracies, so like the further you go from 0, 0, 0 (spawn), the less precise the shaders become, hence the glitching
These videos are fantastically creative and unique, thank you for making them and perhaps introducing others to some of C418’s tracks that are less known
Yep, figured that out too. Also, in the few videos where we get to see his skin, it’s entirely made of mossy cobblestone. And the first world he ever made was, guess what, made up of entirely mossy cobblestone, trees and all. Definitely something very interesting

6:50 The way you look down and the music changes like "oh shit that's far" is really cool lol
"That's a lot of holes! Wait, they look like crowded houses."
a moog pit
a moog mine
@thezipcreator I assume this is referencing something because the creator liked it? But I looked it up and got nothing

We're exploring surrealistic megastructures with this one
Junji Ito?
very abstract
The worldbuilding is interesting, I wonder when we'll start getting more clues about what's happening to this world?
i have a feeling they will choose to just never elaborate
Your builds never fail to impress!
holy crap that's beautiful, reminds me of Girls' Last Tour
I like that anime too! Have you tried the game NaissanceE? Strongly recommended if you like this type of vibes
oh hey, it seems this one picks up right after yes
very interesting

My dude is out here slowly putting together a world of anomalies. Excited to see what you do next!

How about a green one? I have a backup supply of places.
The kisser of boys

There are no holes in the city of bam.

So, BAMn't
Reminds me of NaissanceE
