Usually when mine blows through like that, I just hit it on my lift post a couple times and it starts working again lol

Same issue I had. Except I dropped all the pieces and had to figure how all the parts went back together. Luckily the parts all looked worn into each other. So it wasn't to hard.

When re-installing the quick connect chuck (that holds the bits) do you thread that on dry or apply grease/other lubricant to the threads?

Just WD40 for cleaning but did you have to grease the gun out? If so what type of grease?

I didn't any grease my man I just put the oil for air impacts you could used the white grease
