This probably isn’t your case, but don’t barbers cut your hair shorter than the actual style so you can grow into it? Because if you cut it the exact length you will have to get a cut much earlier each time. I don’t know, a lot of people complain about their hair being too short but their hair looks like the requested style a little after.

I think both cuts look great. I think the take away is experiment with different hairstyles as clients, but for the barbers always improve your craft beyond just cutting: Thai guy was giving a head massage while the Puerto Rican guy used a spray gun and face cleanser. Really cool!

@@Ajwtfno usually after shaving the hair can grow back towards and into the skin which is called ingrowing (if I'm not mistaken) that causes small bumps. It can happen to anyone, but Ig it's more frequent among black people cause their hair is curlier
That scared me a bit, I last used a razor when I was 12, had to go to the clinic to get a sore ointment to clear my whole head of bumps and sores. No matter how desperate I can be for a haircut, razor stays far away from my skin. Even with a hair clipper I dont go completely bald.

It’s so annoying that for all that detail work plus massages and face masks a guy’s cut only costs $25. Where ever I go to literally just get my ends trimmed as a woman with medium-long hair costs AT LEAST $50 without any kind of styling.

Seriously! I haven’t been to anyone in years because I refuse to pay that much and I rarely ever like how my hair turns out. If I had an experience like either of them I’d probably go and wouldn’t mind the end result because it was a fun experience to begin with.
You just have to find the right place. I cut off about 5 inches today straight cut, wash, she framed my face and thinned it out for 22 + tip.
