- I built a LEGO Mech based off the new Ice Planet CMF minifigure. I took inspiration from Gundam (Gunpla) for this build and tried to push myself outside of my comfort zone.
This build was displayed at Brickworld Chicago, 2024.

This truly was the best mini figure of that series, you can use it for so much. Currently using it to build a Brotherhood of steel army, winterised.
It’s really is such a good minifigure!
I think the next mech should be based of the Mtron power lifter figure from the same space series, using the 4 armed Kais climber mech as a starting reference. Could pair very well this this mech, considering both the source material and the base models are connected.
I have that mech in my lineup to be modified at some point. Sounds like a fun idea!

everything about this is amazing.. but idk if its just me, the head throws it off. i personally think it could have been a little more streamlined but i still like it. Good build man
In regular conversation, I sometimes take a moment to “how did we get here” if I was talking about something else originally.
I would definitely like to see mechs based on the other CMF Series 26 figures. Give the M-Tron Power Lifter a proper Power Loader, and the Blacktron Mutant a similarly mutated battlesuit. (And give the Retro Space Heroine a retro rocket.)
I’m definitely considering it! So many good figures in the series!

I think a space baby power ranger like mech with a baby manning each limb and the center would be fun. Or they could be in a command center in the middle 🤔

I think this is both technically and aesthetically the best mech that you have built so far. I might not have seen all of them, but the two other videos that I did had some really good ones, but none of them were as detailed and well balanced as this one. The lines of the armor, the head sculpt, the posability and even the added Penguin spaceship and hanger, such a fun and exciting end result.

Really nice build i am a huge fan of ice planet 2002.
Dis not know the particular orange color is no longer available.
I always like ice planets color coördination with the blue orange and white, i see alot of people who like it over represent 1 color over the other 2.
Think your mech would have been even better with more orange in the mix and some old figurines to seperate the captain with the crew.
In general i am jealous at the amount of bricks you have too do these builds and how cool you made the enite mech build.
I think the coolest detail were the snow slopes the old sets don't do details like that but the old space station would look so much cooler with those details.

Will you be making a build for brickworld Grand Rapids this year? I have been wanted to go to it, but not sure which pass to buy or if it’s worth going at all. I want to get some inspiration for my channel as I start to become a more serious collector.
I’ll be at Brickworld GR this year. Not sure what I’m bringing yet but I’ll have some stuff there! I’d say it’s at least worth going for one of the public days to see things. It’s definitely not as big as other conventions like Brickworld Chicago or Brickfair VA.
