So much history. I lived about a half hour drive from Belton, home of Mary Hardin Baylor University, which was where the women's school moved to. You could spend a lifetime exploring Texas, and never see it all!
Incredible trip.. I loved the history. The gardens were gorgeous and the historic cabins and homes. However, I wanted to see Andrea get out of that chair. Thanks guys.
Beautiful! You 2 look so relaxed enjoying all the flowers and buildings. Learned about Baylor's history etc. Thanks so much for sharing! I bought my Virginia a wind chime for her birthday. Love the sound! Bon Voyage!
Loved this explore. So unique with a great variety of sights. Love the thunder 🎉 . The chimes were tight ! Really interesting and unique vid, thanks guys 🤙🏽
Thought we caught the lightning as well, but at least the thunder came through! Glad you enjoyed this one as much as we did, see you next week Bernardo!
Beautiful gardens and so much history, love the old buildings and the history on the University's. Thank you for sharing and God Bless. Be safe and take care. 🥰💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍(🐞🌹🦂🌵)
As ALWAYS, another topnotch video... Your homework, preparation, and terrific, hands, and *foot-on approach, to taking us there was FANtastic... What a marvelous place. Thanks for showing what remains, and pics from the past. It looks so tranquil. It seems like visitors can just walk in and out of the open buildings, on their own. WOW... I never knew the history of Baylor. great coverage, Andrea and Steven...🏫💧💧 🧱 💧💧 🏫 That was interesting about the boys and the girls. 😉☀️🌞👏
Hi Steve and Andea, interesting collection of buildingd - my favourites were the old schoolhouse and the enormous anti bellum house - shades of "Gone with the Wind."
What a beautiful place to see there!?! Love the Garden Shed, the Wizard of Oz flower field (bunch of Pansies.. 🤣) and the crack of lightning and rolling thunder .. Then Andrea starts talking cucumber sandwiches of course ..
Well done once again, your coverage and knowledge of where you are is great to hear and makes it worth while to have a goog and listen, I guess your favourite part was the giant chair ???, waiting for the next episode and Cheers
When I was going to Easton Arcola Elementary School, in the 1960's they still had the desks with the old inkwells in them. I'm glad that we didn't use them, they were actually the well to hold the inkwells. I'm a southpaw, and inkwells would never worked out for me.
@@PinInTheAtlas did you know that left handed people wrote their cursive in reverse to keep the wet ink from smearing? We check things off from right to left and I underline everything from right to left. I also write upside down and can read a book, magazine or newspaper upside down. I had some people in a hospital turn my paper around when I was trying to sign a authorization slip for treatment, and I told them if they did it again, I'd turn it into a ball and toss it at them.
I could have sworn you were walking through the Garden of Eden with Mr. Right.😊😂 very beautiful botanical garden. A walk through paradise. That basement probably looks haunted. So much tranquility there and rich in history. That’s what makes videos like this worth watching. No stables??Steve wouldn’t know he spent most of his time in the principals office 😂😂 just joking. Thank you for sharing rich history again.😊
Yes, the principal and I were on a first name basis, might even be in his will seeing as we got so close! This area was truly wonderful and totally Andreas paradise!
I was taken back seeing my name. I keep telling people. That I'm a legend in my own mind! 🤭 There was some very nice looking scenery. When I lived in Texas years ago. I lived in Beaumont, Texas.

Loved that 'plant bed' :-D
A pity of all the traffic noise though; at the time they may only have heard the wind, birds, cows and/or horses.
Yes that was the only downside to how completely peaceful the ambience was there!
Like you said, peaceful.
Thanks good job guys! I used to live in SA the missions there are also fun to explore 😊
