- The Dirty 30 - The Dirty 30 follows 29 year-old Ricky Simmons (Sean Riggs) whose ex, Lisa, walked out on him with no explanation and broke his heart. Reeling from this crushing blow with no closure, Ricky's best friend Jessy (Giovanni Watson) pressure him to enter the dating world again. He finally agrees to let Jessy play matchmaker and falls for a beautiful woman, only to discover that she is a former escort Kaitlyn (alias Samantha Kimm) played by Nafessa Williams that had been hired by his trusted friend.

Most people disliking and trashing the movie haven't gone through what this guy is going through in this movie.
Finding love is hard, finding love with a dark past is even harder. Finding love and converting it to marriage is the hardest part.

Finding love is not hard, because you just FIND. What makes it hard is LOOKING FOR IT. Marriage (the supposed end-point of every romantic relationship) is not something you seek... You just keep on doing you as God has planned for you, and BAM, you find. If you keep looking for love, chances are you'll find the wrong one, cos emotions are involved. But if you keep doing you, you're on a journey through life, and the perfect one is somewhere along that road. Sure, anticipate, desire, but don't go looking, cos it's never a priority.

This was actually a very good movie. It was funny from the jump, great acting, great looking actor's. And I loved the opposite lives of the best friends. It had a great story line with a plot twist, sensitivity, understanding and compassion. Glad I took the time to watch it.

Very, very good and I only watched because I couldn't believe the leading actress, the one men do and want to chase is actually dark-skinned!! The man being dark masters too (although they don't have limits) because they waaay more than not put a dark male with light or light brown females.
