@@moraymac2922 Yes. Thats what i dont get.. the mass media goes on about Corbyn being an anti-Semite but its clear that it is a way off offloading any responsibility for gratitious violence against Semites by the State. It becomes more pointless as time goes on and more people are aware of the fundamental fraud underlying it. But they will just go ahead anyway with and call it 'the gift that keeps on giving' when all the signs are there that it will end up destroying them. Now you have Yids, in Germany, France and the UK claiming Iran has nuclear weapons again or preparing to build them. I don't think any nulcear bunkers are going to save any of the "Divine" "Powerful" from any of the long-term, consequences. Don't they know it only takes 1 night to wipe them out? They've just taken the initiative. We just need to end it.
I think drawing an equivalence between what labour have done in in this election and what the conservative have done is probably as misleading as anything the Labour party have done. Arguing about the costing of policies is how politics have been done for decades and if the Conservatives want to argue the individual point they can release their own projections for what opening up NHS drugs markets to US pharmaceutical companies will cost (they haven't), Labour suggesting that the NHS might have to pay the same rate for drugs as US firms is at the upper end of estimates for the pricing policies but isn't a lie.
Suppose you have a small village with a population of 250 people. In 2017 there was 1 murder in the village. In 2018 there were 2 murders. Therefore, there was a 100% increase in murders in the village between 2017 and 2018. This figure of 100% may sound shocking to the layperson, but it's nothing actually shocking and it's most likely an outlier. Is it a lie? No. Is it misleading? Absolutely. The repercussions for saying something misleading and lying should be the same in my opinion. They're not the same thing, sure, but they have the same effect and deserve the same punishment.
@@MrJason005 Labour aren't deliberately misleading people though. They're offering a worst case scenario for the cost of opening up NHS drug markets. That the FT doesn't agree with that estimate doesn't make it disingenuous, people of good conscience can disagree about predictions for things without either of them lying. Labour looked at how much the drug bill of the NHS would cost in the US and provided that number to the British public, calling that a lie seems overly critical to me, and to conflate it with what the conservative have been doing at national level is just wrong. [1] The phrase 'sell off the NHS' is something I don't like but unfortunately necessary due to the nature of political discourse. Political parties need to have reductive summaries and that one is not unreasonable. It's like the conservative saying 'under labour average taxes will rise'. These simplifications are a necessary evil because the vast majority of the population isn't interested in an in-depth analysis of policy. They haven't the time or the inclination. [1] just as a point worth mentioning I'm sure that there are politicians of all stripes presenting information that isn't honest in more piecemeal way, people who are generally honest speaking in haste and say things they believe to be true which support their prejudices which aren't and a whole range of other things which should be taken in good faith as part of political discourse - not everything that is untrue is a deliberate lie and that holds true for some things said by people in every political camp - The problem here is the systemic, organised, top down approach we see in the current conservative administration to falsehood which honestly I don't think is present in any of the other parties in the UK. I can't ever forget the picture of the 4 year old with pneumonia lying on the hospital floor, if that doesn't move you to grow a conscience; nothing will.
Bar charts and newspaper styled leaflets is old news, every party does it in defending / targeting seats. Whether that is illegal or immoral? Don't know, used to it now, but the online issues (changing twitter for a live TV appearance, fake websites) particularly by the tories is a big difference this time.
The abhorrent rhetoric pasted all over the Tory tabloids just makes me want to vote Labour. And I see brexit as a scam, a dangerous one at that.
The End of UK ...
The media complaining about politicians producing fake news is gold.
You can't tell the difference anyway
"With the internet _doctored_ videos can be spread .... " - cough * BBC editing audience laughing over Johnson remark on honesty Johnson * cough
btw the misinformation, lying by omission and video doctoring by the legacy media is going on in every country - but now we can find out and connect the dots (even when it is some years ago).
Tories petrified of Jeremy corbyn.
how sickly they are
Trying to draw an equivalency between the conservatives and lib dems straight up lying and labour stating a very possible consequence of a policy is really lazy and shockingly poor journalism. Choose a side, being neutral when one is much worse than the other isn't a good thing
what a load of crap. Who employs these people
Thank you FT for this. Very nice to see an unbiased piece once in a while.
Both these Conservative and Labour parties need to be a lot less deceiving.
That's just such a misunderstanding of the video.
Labour's deception is having costing figures that people don't agree with, but no one will contest them.
The Tories are literally lying about Labour policy, faking information, and spreading lies. Just so they can continue receiving money from the rich who will profit off of Brexit.
@@RazaBrothers People's obsession with being "Balanced" enables the parties that lie none stop. It's killing public discourse.

This is fake too
How do we even know there's such a thing as a government? Only through the fake news on the lying TV and misinformation on FakeBook. Wake up people! There is no election going on! There isn't even a government! Boris is a made up character played by an actor! The FT is a front for the conspiracy pointing out the made up flaws in the fake system to make it look more realistic but the wheels are coming off the bus! The writers behind it are running out of ideas and this whole "brexit" story line has totally jumped the shark. The truth will be revealed soon and you'll all see that all our countries are really run by ghosts and mushroom men! Mushroom men I tell you!!!!!11!1!111 :p
Sounds like the Tories should be disqualified
Tomorrow I rest my one eye sight.as it's blurry plus tired.
More like fake politicians

What’s Boris talking about high steak for he doesn’t have to eat it.
Please call him Johnson. Calling him by his first name just reinforced the fascist Cult of the leader.
I’ve been trying to research politics for this election as this is my first vote, and the only misinformation I’ve fallen to is Corbyn and his lies about the NHS trade documents my friends all believe its real in the sense that Boris Johnson’s going to sell the NHS which there is no evidence of. Chances are if someone is following a parties Facebook page they tend to vote that way anyway
Fake, misleading or lying, doesn't seem much difference to me, why should anyone believe any of it?
In an ideal world we would expect people to have common sense but they want power over information. And will use outrage to convince people to give it to them.
Because people are idiots
Twitters not real life 🤦🏼♂️
oh yeah like the FT. is always opinion free.
Has there been anything else ?
Mainstream media bias toward Left party create alternative news source
the only plaice ive seen these adverts are here FT you are promoting false information ! !
@2cakesken RUclips channels have no control over what adds are shown on their videos. Watch LGBT+ activists channels and you will see adverts for anti gay hate groups. Watch videos from the Royal Institution about climate change and you will see adds by climate change denying conspiracy theorists. Watch videos reporting on misinformation in our election and you will see completely fake political propaganda. Thats the whole problem they are talking about.
Reveal the truth please
Lab is full of misleading 😆
Relocate in Italy
All this kind of stuff is old news, for generations most parties for most places in the world have done this stuff to each other since politics has been around, it's just that maybe it's become easier to fool people with the modern tech we have today, they just did things in a different method than online stuff . it's like all news, you watch, listen or read take it in BUT you then MUST read between the lines and accept that not all of what you are told is all true. As the saying goes" you've got to keep your wits about you" . meaning be aware and trust your instincts, as not everything is exactly as it seems.😒
FT For Tories
Labour leader jc a decent kind inspiring man plus good Labour leader and I'm glad that in December 7th 2019 I woke up ,saw with my one eye sight, listened to all this Labour leader stands for,59yrs and Labour always believed in equality .This Labour leader can change UK for the better, unlike Tories this Labour leader has empathy plus compassion for our suffering as poor people and on sick like me,also poor.that counts in a rich western country like UK where were seen how unequal Tories can be when it us ,the poor and sick and homeless in UK.bedroom tax Tory, sanctions Tory, cuts Tory,9yrs Tory austerity, more food banks in Tory UK,more homeless in Tory UK,Tories lie and Labour does not.labour built our hospital system for all but Tories will sell it off,Tory liars.tory leader like a tape recorder, nothing new and lies.labour will do a lot for UK plus it's people and that includes all unlike Tories who take from poor but give to the rich like before this election.my one eye sight blurry now, tired eye.yet some things have got to be said and that is there are more important issues than Tory crap eu deal which took 3yrs to get plus lies.like lies at start of this Tory referendum and this crap eu deal is not what I voted for.this eu leave voter says bin this as were be better off remain in eu.your Tory crap eu deal would take years after of negotiations.my older son was going to vote Tory but hurray because talking to him means he's not going to vote now.but of course I may get him to vote Labour like me.ill on sick and postal vote never came.corrupt.but I go and vote even if I get 2nd haemorrgh on the way.because I believe in decency ,equality and a kinder UK for all and not just few.i don,t want a liar, jester, Tory pm in government and I don,t want a crap eu deal, I don,t want more years of Tory corruption and fraud and lies.i don,t want more Tory years of Tories taking from poor and cutting taxes for rich , rich Tory supporters of which includes Jews.your all wrong who say horrid things about Labour leader who a decent man and this Tory liar jester leader not decent, not honest and he's a racist plus bad apple .every party has bad apples but Tory party has a leader who a bad apple. Ps it's not nice or decent to say lies and go after the Labour leader's character.but you Tories will do anything to get back in government, like last time that 100 billion dirty dup deal at tax payers exspense.when or if I reach 60yrs next year 2020, I hope Labour gets back in government so Tories cannot kill more from they unequal mean cruel policys
Lmao, over blowing the issue from all parties. I've not seen a single political advert this cycle
u don't use facebook and live in a rock then, millions have.

@@StevioGaming1 or maybe you're not really into politics
@@TheDominicProject oh yes because seeing an ad makes you "into politics" good one
@@StevioGaming1 wow well done for reading between the lines... I'm suggesting you don't think it's that big a deal because you're not that politically engaged. You're welcome to denounce that but here is my case.
It is a big deal because, the current government, is engaging in fake news, purposeful misinformation and propaganda that rivals the Weimar Republic. Does that seem democratic to you? Does that seem not that big a deal? Because there is no way in hell it's not the biggest deal. Politicians have always lied yes but never to this extent, in our current system. Whoever controls the information controls the outlook of the country. I suggest you reconsider your suggestion that "it's not that a big a deal" based on evidence and ur esteemed political understanding

MrWhiteyPt Sweden isnt in the euro and the EU says further integration and harmonisation must happen. So you wont have it much longer
