I had to lol when you dropped something and cursed. The Chinazon plate holder seems nicer than the Custom Dynamics one
nooooooooooooo....... dont hold the nuts down.....!!!!!!! lmao.... one of the first changes i made on my 1990 FXRS Low Rider (which i still own) was the plate holder,.. def gives it a much sleeker look.... well done....ya'll be safe and ride safe....😎

I did! That's how I ordered the new plate - I just needed to swap out the holders :)
black fingernail polish would work on the screws lol.
Suggestion. Maybe use a cordless drill screwdriver instead of the T handle. Looks much better with frame on it.

there is another difference the hole in the mount to run the wires for the lighted frame. not there is a hole in the fender for the wires though.
