      @STMwoodturning definitely one of my favorites! It smells so good while cutting, splitting, turning and burning. Might be the perfect wood, gives walnut a run for the money in my book.

    Very nice bowl. I love the Acks products, but he doesn’t ship to Canada any more. Have to try Yorkshire grit now that I am out

      @scottmedori1437 thanks Scott, sucks about the shipping. YS grit works great, all my earlier bowls were done with it.

    What are your washing recommendations for these bowls?
    Any particular soaps to avoid, do you need to re-oil them occasionally?

      @DisneyUpBoilerUp yeah so this is a tough one. Just a standard dish soap, hand wash and immediately dry. You can re apply oil from time to time if it doesn't get alot of use. If it gets daily use i just let it go and it ki d of developes it's own natural patina. But the minute you hit it with oil again the grain instantly pops.
