There is still some real good music out there.. It's just not getting played on mainstream radio. Who listens to that anyway? This is real good music. Joe keeps making it. A real artist.
I haven't consiciously turned on a radio (nor a "streaming service" for that matter) to listen to it, in three years, it has been probably 5-6 years since I regularly listened to the radio, and that was a breakfast show, where most of the show was chatter and ads.

I agree, Joe is actually at his best when he's doing backing vocals, in my opinion. Check out his performances with John Hiatt. The vocals they do together on down around my place are simply stunning.

This is as good as it can get. Joe is a true master with his guitar playing and singing both. Saw him live and he truly rocks it down like no other I have seen in 50 years of concerts. He is the full package for sure! He plays and sings with true emotion and conviction. Love this guy to no end!

Joes is known to lack soul in his music and is a big reason why he never made it mainstream. The guy is a stiff robot nerd, thats not a good mix when it comes to the blues
I saw Joe a few years ago in Knoxville, TN. what a concert. I bought a ticket, last night, for his concert in Louisville, KY next Feb. love this song.

I'm going to see Joe for the first time in person on Dec 1, 2018 in Vancouver, BC in Canada.
I've been a huge fan ever since I came across his music by accident several years ago while surfing online.

I saw him at the Holland International Blues festival Grolloo, it was an amazing show, when he was talking he looked almost shy. Great person and musician. Enjoy the show!

Was just now listening to this fab album on my Amazon Prime and couldn’t quite figure out who the guest vocalist was on this tune... I knew the voice for sure but just couldn’t figure it out without peeking. Now I know! I’m a big Jamey fan so this is really cool to me. If you read about both Joe’s and Jamey’s careers you see a lot of similarities. Both essentially gave the high hard one to the record companies and did things their own way, with great success. I like that.

I am always pleasantly surprised at the variety of blues and increased vocal ability of Joe. He doesn't get stuck in a rut. If he gets bored with what he's doing he has enuff talent to go a different direction and make it fresh and enjoyable for himself and us as well. Well done Joe.
