The speaker emphasizes that tax planning is just as important as tax preparation and that having a tax strategist can lead to significant savings and benefits in the long run. By working with a tax strategist, individuals can optimize their tax situation, minimize their tax bill, and take advantage of various tax credits and deductions that they may not be aware of.

    As an estate planning attorney, it’s good to finally hear someone who knows that trusts are not a tool to mitigate income tax.

      I disagree 100% there are trusts that can be established to mitigate your tax liability for transferring purposes.

      @@CSL214YSome irrevocable trusts, yes, not revocable living trusts though. As for entrepreneurs, utilizing an irrevocable trust, in my opinion, shouldn't be the first thing to run to do.

    This interview is GOLD! As an accountant and tax advisor this is the stuff I try to explain to clients everyday but end up having to rebut misinformation from "gurus" and correcting "lazy CPAs". However, the host is super articulate in 1. asking the right questions; 2. allowing him to speak without 3. keep interjecting with what some other guru said. Loved it, gives me hope with my clients.

      So much of the tax code benefits business owners and investors. That’s why it’s typically the focus.
      There are some tax advantage strategies for W2 employees. But not as many.
      To really navigate the tax code, I’d really encourage you to start a business or invest.

    As someone who is doing the extraordinary with his business, how doesn't he see being in a loving marriage with all the temptations of his status as doing something extraordinary also? If monogamy isn't natural, being in a monogamous relationship is the "extraordinary-ness" he's looking for.

    Ah yes, this wont have any negative impact on society, its not like taxes pay for things like roads, bridges, schools, hospitals, firefighters, police, The military, postal workers, national parks, etc, etc, etc. Lets just use our status as rich assholes to completely rig the social contract in our favor🤡

    • @only1muppet
      @only1muppet 5 месяцев назад

      You’re not totally wrong. However how do you think people accumulate wealth? It’s not by paying more in taxes. He’s also not advocating to cheat the government but use the laws they have put in place. Trump is a great example of taking advantage and crossing the legal line. He’s also the reason our wealth gap is growing even more, the tax cuts he passed gave the richest people even more loopholes to use.

    • @solarpunk9994
      @solarpunk9994 4 месяца назад

      @only1muppet people accumulate wealth through theft aka capitalism, you have people produce value for you and pay them less than the value they make, or you find a resource and extract it, making sure to avoid any costly regulations that you can, or you use government subsidies and tax write offs to give you a competitive edge over everyone else, it's all theft. He IS advocating to cheat the government, there are over 400k PAGES worth of tax write offs, why do you think that is? Because rich people write the tax code and make sure they can avoid all that they can, walmart literally decimated small town economies by not paying taxes, amazon makes tens of billions per year and pays no taxes, that is theft on a massive scale, not to mention the wage theft they commit on workers is more than all blue collar theft combined in this country
