Miss Thailand is really gorgeous. Best Asian candidate from 2014, and the winner is just stunning. I'm glad South Africa won.

India may not have won this year. I love how the former Miss Indias (Aishwarya and Priyanka) are still celebrated. They left such an impact. It makes me so proud to be an Indian.
I was in the audience and had a wonderful time! Moved to tears several times, particularly by the Beauty with a purpose videos. A marvellous winner but so many deserving girls!

I think that selecting the top 10 and final 5 should be fair, it's totally unfair and Baised how does India 1st place end up not reaching the final 5? They can't even defend there spot, They earn the top 25 but once the top 10 and final 5 it's up to the favorite of the judges, I perfer Miss Universe

Well, Miss World is unfair indeed. You don't know how they score the candidates. Maybe they do it with closed eyes or via a raffle draw plus the National Directors appearance

don't get me wrong. i love the new winner, but i think it was predominantly a Megan Young show. she was there the whole time, thanks to the hosting stint. add to that the tributes to Julia morley and Aishwarya Rai. it was like the announcement of the winners was just a small event after all those things that took place. still, the new winner is deserving and stunning :)

For those people asking how can India not make the top 5 when she entered the top 10 as number one. The scores got reset to 0 after the top 10 was selected so all previous scores was eliminated.

I read all the comments, and miss South Africa must have been something real special! Usually there is so much hating on the winner, as they are scrutinized from head to toe to find fault. And the comments mostly show love for her. That'd mean she is beyond worthy!

I’m from Fiji; I absolutely love South Africa and she did deserve the crown, however I really feel that India was under placed and that she at least deserved to be in the top 5.
