It wouldn’t be that difficult to creat a double barrel version that aligned two chambers with a separate barrel, not the top two chambers but make yourself a hexagonal 8 shot cylinder and have chambers 3 and 6 align with left and right barrels

@@arrosoir4544 Break Open Revolvers can only take a certain amount of force so it'd be a smaller caliber because the frame isn't a single part like for a Swing Out Cylinder or a fixed one with that little door and integrated ramrod (Like the Colt Single Action Army). It also definitely needs either a shield like this one or a Gas Seal System like for example a Nagant Revolver because the cylinder Gap would shoot hot gasses right onto your arm ^^

There were rifles like this back then. They didn't get too popular because the risk of chain fire was much higher. When a rifle chainfires its a real bad day for the hand you had infront of the cylinder.
The only bad part about revolver shotguns is that unlike regular revolvers, when you use the ejector rod, you have to angle the gun the same way but with a different amount of mass length, and torque on your wrist, so often times it's much harder to get a clean ejection of the shells.
Notice he doesn't get hot powder to his left arm? The revolving cylinder has a protective cover that protrudes thus covering the gap. Excellent design! Even revolvers don't have this.
Absolutely love these firearms from the turn of the century , excellent craftsmenship and still would be reliable enough to defend yourself in the modern era
This gun has been sold under several names for years. Manufactured in Turkey, typically in the $400-$500 range. Beware of gasses from the cylinder gap scorching your supporting arm, the Tauruses have it pretty well sealed but these are hit and miss, some seal much better than others.
Funny thing is I read somewhere .410s were illegal in some states of America but they're legal in Australia, obviously not like this firearm but it made me laugh considering the difference of availability in firearms from aus compared to the U.S.A.
@@michaelcloninger1695 I actually think if it was built to withstand it, you could fit a 45-70 in there, can't be longer than a 410 shell. Certain types can fire 454 Casull, like the Raging Judge but not the regular Judge. I just looked it up, there's a Derringer that can fire 45 Colt, 45-70, or 410.

It shot a low caliber round, and when the system is applied to a modern commonplace revolver round; it doesn’t work. There’s a reason it’s not commonplace, if it fixed the issue, it would be. I’m not sayin it wasn’t good for it’s time, I’m just sayin it didn’t fix issues.

if you look at this rifle closely the solution for that problem was figured out way before it was put to practice. The cylinder has a shield infront of it that prevents unwanted peppering. Beyond that these bad boys are expensive.
I prefer a slight sand and polish inside cylinders of revolver pistols that should work with this🤷shells fall out. Be careful not to remove too much as it could have negative effect😁

they can have stronger loads
They're easier to maintain than an automatic firearm. Automatic in this context being a gun that cycles the casing out and the next round in.

Give that extractor plunger a good slap and you won’t have to pick the spent shells out 👌

I prefer a slight sand and polish inside cylinders of revolver pistols that should work with this🤷shells fall out. Be careful not to remove too much as it could have negative effect😁
Or just point it up while you hit the extractor.
@Spank Themonkey would not reccomend doing that if you plan to reload, would work the brass a lot more
