You guys would LOVE "Habibi" live from Tamino. He's such a gifted singer and that song, especially live, is hauntingly beautiful.

That bass guitarist playing with him live is Collin Greenwood, Radiohead's bass guitarist, which was one of his favorite bands growing up, how cool is that!

On the piano note, I seem to remember that he himself was classically trained on the piano before he switched to guitar and composes on both.

When you guys said he reminded you of someone, I was thinking of Jeff Buckley. But yes, Leonard Cohen ofc.
Buckley is the better match. He is ages behind Cohen in lyricism, but is a better vocalist. Just as Buckley was, God rest his soul.
