Kristin grew up a short distance from me. I can safely say it is not being "famous" that she loves. She is truly the most effervescent person , ever. Loves making people happy, putting a smile on their faces. Even to the point of appearing goofy. Her singing and stage presence have given her the venue to do that. She really is pretty much what you would imagine. Sweet, southern and tiny, with a huge heart.

Coloratura is a vocal role, not voice type.

I saw Kristin in 1997 in the closing show for Steel Pier. It was her Broadway debut. I distinctly remember her because after the show when she came out the stage door she was in tears. But still graciously signed autographs.
I played Sally Brown for our High Schools production of “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” and when I was working on My New Philosophy my voice teacher told me to play the Broadway version and I pulled it up and immediately she goes-“Is that Kristin Chenoweth”

Her normal register changed in an instant as she sang the highlight of that piece "All'alba vincerò!" It was like she was a completely different person for a minute.
I love this woman so much. She's tiny (I read somewhere she's only 4'11") but her talent has no limit. She's not just beautiful to the eyes, but she's humorous and witty, too, such a great personality... ❤❤❤
