This channel focuses on a buy “used” first approach to all things that go into making a home. Buying used as a lifestyle has allowed me to get a better value, save, and reduce waste. I would like to learn more about color theory and see your thrifted clothes. The blue today and the red sweater from your last video are both wonderful and so flattering with your complexion. It's smart to buy thrifted cashmere, silk, merino wool, and even linen. Older pieces are likely to be well made with higher-quality fibers than more modern ones. A cardigan or v-neck will never go out of style.

The pictures are striking. I would place them all on the same part of the wall, in a trio as the one on its own looks like it is missing one. Just a suggestion, what a brilliant buy.
I’m glad you liked them! Great suggestion and I did try them as a trio on the right side but they were too close to floor if I kept the top alignment so I may need to keep playing around. We are enjoying them so much and glad you like them too ☺️
I like the unexpected asymmetry of the way you have them. It looks very modern. Crowding all 3 in that space would look ‘wrong’ to my eye.
I liked the arrangement with the plant beneath the singular painting.
Oh, so many beautiful finds! The sweater is so nice, I love that color on you. I recently bought an Eileen Fisher silk blouse at 70% off. I had a gift certificate, so it was free, lol. The Libbey glasses were a great deal and go so well with your decor. I love blue and white, so think you did well to find them at such a great price. You showed amazing restraint not buying the set of four even though it was a good price. No price is good enough if it's not in the budget. Good for you. Yes…. 🙌🏻 I would love for you to share your thrifted fashion finds. I have gotten 80% of my Cashmere sweater collections also on the resale market either Thrifted or consigned 😘
I had some little pictures l liked so took a photo of the artist's signature and expand it. Then I googled the artist and downloaded some images. I changed the colours to blues, printed them off on A4 photographic paper and framed them. Then gave them to my sister. You've been really lucky with all your free sofas which cleaned up well, and l liked the one with the big seat cushion best. I've had white sofas since 1992 and always made my own loose covers for them in white/ivory damask furnishing fabric. That way I could take them off and wash them, but I always kept the seat covered with a white throw. It's just easier especially if you have pets.......🙂🇬🇧

LOVE those Libbey glasses! I actually found a set of 6 of the clear glass Gibraltar goblets at Goodwill a few months ago and they are my favorite! Your sweater and the wool blanket have that ice blue color that is going to be a popular color for 2024. It looks lovely on you!

This was perfect Melba….. great find on the glasses wow did you thrift them? The dinner plates I love as well …. I just finished the Super Bowl I watched it alone and as you can imagine I’m not too happy. Die hard NINERS fan 🥺🥺. I shut the tv off and went straight to you tube, you made me feel much better. Thank you…..I thrift a lot well not a lot but when I need something. I started about 5 years ago just because I wanted to stop our land fills from getting so full and I’m glad I did. It’s such a great feeling to get great deals. Thank you for cheering me up my friend. I have my own Poshmark store so I do shop for that👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼🙋🏻♀️

I just bought a set of Lenox plates that Kate Spade designed. I love dishes. I have a set of blue willow, brown transferware, mikasa, etc. 😂. Way too many to list. Great buy on the nice glasses. Blue looks good on you. Go Chiefs!

Ugh, I found one today at the Goodwill but I left it there because I wasn’t sure if it was Kromex. It was much bigger but with the same handle. It was $6. Regrets 😢

We're currently clearing out my mom's house and this morning I started packing on the fine china. Neither Lenox, but full sets and so pretty. I'm keeping one, and finding it hard to let go of the other. Not because of value or maybe it is, it's Cmielow from Poland. What to do with it? Certainly not Goodwill or Savers, I would rather it go to someone who appreciates the set. If anyone collects the pattern Rosalie... Happy Sunday, all! Superbowl is not about football it's about the food and commercials!
