Hello! I am planning to apply in 2024 and started researching about steps to follow as I wish to apply without any representation. I must say I am really glad to come across your profile. Detailed and Informative! Appreciate your time, energy and effort👏🏻👏🏻!!!
Hello, I am glad the video is helpful. It takes me around or more than 100 hours to work on a single video starting from detailed research to final touches. It really feels good when I see its helping and worth my efforts. Thank you 🙏🏼
@@invest4kHi, the work experience column does not have any option for date, so how will IRCC calculate the work experience by month or we need to provide some date?
I applied express entry profile and it shows met only on cec program. I have already shows required noc b express of India, shouldn't it be shown met in federal skilled worker program as well ?
‼️‼️CORRECTION: In education section, for question: Was more than half the study program English or French as a second language course, the answer should be NO, i accidentally selected yes in the video, please be mindful
That costed me 15 less points on my express entry profile, and I realized my mistake after getting ITA. Can you help me out what should I do now before I submit my documents? My profile is locked now. Can I unlock my profile so I can update these details? Definitely my score will not go down.
@@jaldeepsenjaliya3425 as long as you received ITA, it doesn't matter now. if you didn't receive ITA, it matters. Just fill out a webform informing the change and don't expect a reply from ircc.
I’ve selected yes and I submitted the application yesterday, so now, should I change it to No? And if I update it to no, then the CRS score will change?
Hi Raj, video was very informative, but I have one question I have a experience from India. I want to add in my file how I can do that I hope you reply soon.
I applied for EE and was told that I am not eligible. I'm married but my spouse doesn't have IELTS result. Is it a must that she must write language test?
Thank you for such an informative video! It was incredibly helpful. However, I have a couple of questions that weren't addressed: My first full-time job was under TEER 2, and my current job falls under TEER 0/1. When filling out the application, should I start with the TEER category for my current job and then include both jobs in the work history section? Am I understanding this correctly? If someone already has a non-Express Entry profile under the Master's Graduate Stream, can they also submit an application under Express Entry through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Stream? Would that be legally acceptable? Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for creating such a helpful video!
At 13:47 there is a mistake and he selected Yes for "Was more than half the study program English or French as a second language courses?". That is wrong, you should select No otherwise you won't get 30 points for Canadian study.
Very informational video. I have a question. For context: I have 1 year experience in Teer 1 job and this year from June I started working for another job under Teer 3. My employer has applied for PR supporting lmia. It’s currently being processed. In the “Work history” section, under “Occupation” at 20:40, the primary occupation would be the job in which I have 1 year experience or the one that I’m currently doing? Please advise.
Que : I recently got rejection for CWP on 6th dec (Friday) and gone out of status immediately, But came to know on 10th Dec.(Tuesday) So, technically I worked a few days beyond the eligibility. Will that be a concern? Can I put 6th dec as end date instead of 10th?
Hey, I have worked through an agency in some of the companies and they provided me with the job letter, not the company. So what should I fill the section of company name and its address ? Is it the name and address of the company or agency
The agency is your company not the client. So, the name of agency goes as long as paystub comes from agency and it was a full-time role and not a contractor/corporation.
Hello, sir yesterday i created my express entry profile and status is submitted now i want to change some details in my profile. is it possible? or can i withdraw my application and again create profile?
Sir, I completed my master in canada but i finished my BE in india . But when i created my profile in express entry I didn’t give all information like i mentioned BE i did but I didn’t fill EOA . Is it necessary? Any points?
Hey Raj Patel. Thanks a lot for making this video. I was so much confused about the job offer letter thing, but you are the first one who addressed it. I just have one more question. I have been working full time in Canada since 13 March'2023, so I will complete one year on 12 March'2024. Back in India, I have an experience of 3.5 years in a skilled trade. So now I am confused about what should I put in my primary job responsibility. If I put my Canadian work NOC Code, I am worried if I would be deemed ineligible in CEC. Can I put my Indian NOC as of now to put my file in the pool and once 12 March arrives, I go into the portal again and change the primary job responsibility to my Canadian NOC Code, so that my file becomes eligible under CEC? Thanks a lot in advance brother!
Hi, for creating express entry profile, you have to provide all your experiences, even though your primary occupation is different right now, you will be eligible for FST with your indian experience, try with your current experience first and if it doesn’t work, recreate with indian experience as primary. All the best!
Hi Raj. I still have the confusion. So if I make indian experience as the primary now, then will my file automatically be considered for CEC once 12 March arrives and I complete one year of work in Canada? Or if I do not receive an ITA by then, I would have to come back and reset my primary occupation as my current job, and then only system will pick my file under CEC? I mean what I think is that even if I make my Indian Experience as primary right now, as soon as one year is done for Canada, I would become automatically eligible for CEC. Does it work this way?
Because I think if I put my current job as primary, then it would be like asking to consider my canadian work experience, and the minimum eligibility is 1 year. So i mean the system will automatically consider my file to be ineligible. I mean logically it looks like this.
5:40 I'm not sure if I ever applied. I created an account a year ago and might've submitted a preliminary application, but I don't think I ever paid for anything. Should I still answer Yes?
Thanks for the video - very helpful! Question though: it can take time before sitting a language test and I would like to have my profile created ASAP to be in the pool. Can I input "estimated" language test result + fake ref # just to be in the pool, and edit that info later? (assuming results will be positive and makes me legible). I know I would have time to take the tests while waiting for an invitation hence would rather create the profile as early as possible and get the docs later.. Thanks!
Hello Raj…You have made a great video. It helped us a lot and resolved alot of queries. However, i have some questions.I hope you give its answer. I have done Personal support worker program. In the question,” do you have a certificate of qualification from canadian Province or Territory” can i put yes as i have certificate from college or i fill No in that section as it should be specifically for some other skilled trades. I am confused in this question. Please guide regarding it. Other question is from work experience section. I am currently doing one full time and one casual job as PSW. Do i need to add both in work experience by selecting ✔️in current job point. Thank you in advance.
You can put your certificate but it won’t give you points as its only for trades. Also, only need to show full time job. I hope it helps, if need any support, please reach out invest4k.com/book-appointment
thanks for so helpful video... ECA for foreign Bachelor degree increases points for the applicants who has Canadian Master degree in Express Entry? I received my Bachelor's Degree back home, then received my Master's Degree in Canada. Do I need to get an ECA report for my Bachelor's degree for Express Entry? The IRCC website says that "you only need an assessment for your highest level of education" and that "You don’t need an assessment for a Canadian degree." This suggests I would not need the ECA, since my highest level of education is a Canadian degree.
Thank you very much for this lmportant information and what things will gonna be the next after you have finished to create an express entry. Thank you for your effort to educate us god bless you.
Hi Raj, I have some questions if you can answer those would be great help. I am planning to create my Express Entry profile under OINP - Skill Trade Stream. 1) I am married and I haven't got my spouse ECA yet. can I update her ECA after submitting Express entry profile? 2) Under Application and Profile details section there is a question (Which province or territories would you consider living in?) (your video time 17:27) - My Question - What should i select? should i select all provinces or only ontario?
This video is really informative! I just received a notification that my express entry profile has expired, and I am re entering all my details again. Would this be an issue, as I have applied for the Nova Scotia Experience Express Entry Program in March of 2024, and I am still waiting for any word from that. Would my Express Entry profile expiring during that process have any negative effects on the outcome of the Nova Scotia Experience Express Entry application?
Thank you for the video. Please I have a question can corrections be made in a PR application. That is a minute mistake of adding your location to the name of your work place in the EE profile.

And what about job offer if we are on pgwp and have job offer for one 1 year does it consider without 1 year of experience? Or it needs to be lmia specific ?

Hi, I am glad the video is helping, please do subscribe if you want to watch more videos like this on Immigration and making a better financial future. For your question, if its a part-time job, you can say "Yes", if its a full-time job, its not possible to do a full-time job while studying as per your work permit so that would make it illegal before you graduated. So make sure if its a transition from part time to full-time job, you have 2 entries, 1 for part time and 1 for full time. If you need any other help please feel free to book me tidycal.com/rajpatel

How about updating the profile after submitting the profile? Will the total CRS score change, and how will we get to know about it? And how many times we can update the profile after submission?
The section where they ask you if you have any relative in Canada who is a citizen? Does it mean it can be my aunt and uncle who are not immediate family or don't have a blood relation? Can I include them?
HI Raj, if I said, 'Yes' to the Intended work in Canada' section, but answered, 'No' to all the LMAI questions, 0 points will be awarded, right? I recently got an ITA, and I noticed I put, 'Yes' to the question but, 'No' to everything else. I am unsure if I got 50 points - would the points have its own line or would it have been factored in another category? I changed it to, 'No' when I did the forms and checked my score and it did not change (drop) but I am curious. Your response is appreciated! Thank you.
I'm new to Canada, came through my employer working with closed WP. And I'm about to have 1 year exp. by Nov 2024, and i'm LMIA exempted and my employer filed a amendment petition recently to change with role and location change which is in progress with IRCC. with this amendment petition my role and NOC code is changing. however my duties on both NOC codes overlap, in this case which NOC code i should choose as my Primary occupation when i submit my express entry profile by December 2024 (assuming my petition would be approved by IRCC then)?
Hi,Thanks for supporting the channel. You just have to mention the number of dependents while creating the Express Entry profile, you will be able to add your kids details once you get the invitation for PR, they don't need kids details at this point as it doesn't affect your points at all. If you will check thoroughly, each section that is needed to create profile will be decided the CRS points, kids are not a criteria for it. I hope that helps, please subscribe if the channel is useful.
Hi Raj, Great video! I actually have already received my ITA. But as I'm on a closed work permit my work permit ends during April 2025. And I can only opt for an extension in the coming month. So my question was is there a document which needs to be submitted stating that I have a valid job even for a year after receiving PR to be submitted or should only my job offer letter suffice?
Thanks alot, This video is really helpful. As i am applying in 2024, i just have one question if i have degree from Canada's college. Do i need to do WES.

I have a BSc in Electrical Engineering and significant work experience as an electrician.
Hello Raj, Thank you for your video; it was incredibly helpful. I had been making numerous mistakes with my application from January 2024 until today. Thanks to your guidance, I was able to join the pool despite initially submitting 8 ineligible profiles. This achievement means a lot to me. I have a question: I am French and living in Ontario, with a score of 408 and a TCF CLB level of 6. Do I have any chance of being selected in a draw for French-speaking candidates? Thank you for your help!
I appreciate your content on Express Entry, but there’s a major gap that I, and many others, are struggling with. I only have 1560 hours of continuous student skilled work experience in Canada, which meets the minimum eligibility for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program but doesn’t qualify for points under work experience. I’m trying to create my EE profile to be considered under FSW, not Canadian Experience Class (CEC), but the options are confusing. There’s no clear guidance on how to ensure this experience counts only for minimum eligibility without earning points. It would be super helpful if you could make a detailed video on this topic, as it’s a unique but common issue that’s not being addressed. Thanks!
Your video is so detailed and helpful, thank you so much. Please can you clarify this for me; 28:43 I was working full time with a company for over a year while being a student but I already have my pgwp now, will I be qualified for Canadian experience
hey Raj thank you for a very detailed video! I was just wondering if for the question "was more than half the study program English or French as a second language courses?" we should answer No, I studied a bachelor in Canada, and everything was English, so No would be the right answer? Thanks!
Hi very helpful video. Just a question, if we had put our file in pool for express entry before but never receievd an invite will it count "yes" in part I where it is asked "if you have applied for express entry before".
Hello, i have a question regarding hours per week, I'm qualified to apply if partime hours equivalent to fulltime , however my employer has given me total number of hours worked from a certain date to date, so what number can i put in that section as its partime job and it varies every week. Please and thank you
Hi Raj, Thank you for the informative video. I have a slight doubt regarding a question in education section. I have completed 2 year pg diploma in Canada. It has a prerequisite of having to complete bachelor's for applying for the course. My question is, what should I be selecting for the level of education for a pg diploma. The options im having 1.Two-year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institutes 2. Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute 3. Master's degree, or professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession. Hope you can help me.
Thanks for the detailed video. Very helpful. I have a doubt about the question about Job Offer. If am on my PGWP working for a company for one year now, that does not comes under 'Job Offer' right(I give 'No' for Job Offer even though it's full time/no seasonal etc) . Instead I just need to add it in my work history.
After coming to Canada, I lost my passport, and then got it re-issued. While creating express entry profile, should I mentioned the information about my old passport as well?
Can we retake the ELP test after the Express Entry submission? Ex. min CLB score is 6 for Teer 2, which meets the ELP requirement, but can i retake just in case I get CLB 7 to boost my CRS scores?

Yes, I always recommend using all if you are flexible to move as the situation in Canada is changed. There are no obligations once invited, if you are not interested, you could always reject the province’s invitation. All the best!

Hi Raj, I have become ineligible for express entry as I guess I have selected "In good standing" instead of "degree being awarded" for my Canadian master's education because I completed my requirements in December 2023(got official transcripts as well) but the degree will be awarded in May 2024 so I selected the first option and I was not claiming points for bachelors. So my question is, now on my GC account, they can see that I was ineligible in the past. Now, when I submit a new EE profile again in May(after the official convocation) should I mention my previous EE profile or I create a new GC account and proceed accordingly?

Hey, I have worked through an agency in some of the companies and they provided me with the job letter, not the company. So what should I fill the section of company name and its address ? Is it the name and address of the company or agency
The agency is your company not the client. So, the name of agency goes as long as paystub comes from agency and it was a full-time role and not a contractor/corporation.
Thanks for your reply 👍, cause I was wondering that I worked for the company not for the agency so how can I put the agency's name in the profile
Hello, sir yesterday i created my express entry profile and status is submitted now i want to change some details in my profile. is it possible? or can i withdraw my application and again create profile?
Yes, you can always edit your details. just login and update information.
Thank you sir
Your answer should be No
Thanks for the video - very helpful!
Thanks!
Hi, yes. But just have to make sure that you don't get ITA because if you do then you will have to keep the same score.
Hi @mridulasharma9407 Did you apply ? I have the same doubt also are you eligible in FSW?
Awesome work👍
Thank you 😃
thanks for so helpful video...
Hi, No ECA on bachelor will have no impact with your masters from canada. You are correct with your assumptions
Thank you very much for this lmportant information and what things will gonna be the next after you have finished to create an express entry.
Thank you for your effort to educate us god bless you.
I am glad my videos are helpful to you :)
Hi Raj,
I have some questions if you can answer those would be great help.
HI,
1) you can update your profile after, yes
2) select all provinces.
Glad it was helpful! No it wont have impact just notify them about your new EE number
What to put under street address for employer if working remotely?
Thank you for the video.
Please I have a question can corrections be made in a PR application.
That is a minute mistake of adding your location to the name of your work place in the EE profile.
If you mean by this profile, yes you can! if you mean after submission of ITA application, yes through webfrom, if needed help, please reach out tidycal.com/rajpatel/express-entry-profile-doubts-30-min

Doing it since almost 10 years not sure about others :)
Hello Raj,
Your video is helping us lot, but I have one question.
Do we need to add all our work experience in work history that we gain during our continued study as well or Do Just we need to add full time experience after completing study ?
Hi, only the experience after completing studies are needed.
Hi raj, please do you have a video showing step by step how to enter the express entry pool for a couple and a baby
Hi Sylvia, thats very similar, just more applicants when questions asked, I can also help reviewing it if you are confused. invest4k.com/book-appointment
Hey, does insurance broker license issued by IBABC counts as "certificate of qualification from Canadian province or territory".
Yes but it won’t give you points
Is it safe to apply even if we are still waiting for our work permit extension? So I still have a pending application on my gckey account and its still in progress.. Pls advise
Hi Raj! Thank you for the video, I already have the GC Key account when I came as a student, now applying for the express entry. Do I again need to make a new GC Key account or will my previous one work? Thank you!
You can use same account
Thank you video. I have completed my Express entry pool and added my all education including Canadian education but in system is not showing points for Canadian education. Please advise how do I resolve this problem . Btw, all the other point are taken into account except the Canadian education point (15).
Thanks for the information. I have a question on the part of occupation, what if the NOC is the same job or function backhome and after graduation? What is the date to be entered? Thanks
you start with when you first completed your studies for the occupation.
If we have a candian degree snd a degree from home country do we need to do eca for home country degree before submitting it ?
Depends if your canadian degree is highest credential or home country degree, if home country degree is highest you need evaluation else not.
I have a master's degree from Canada and then another masters from my home country do I need evaluation ? Does it effect scores ?
Ideally not needed as you will use your Canadian masters to gain scores, but its a good to have.
And what about job offer if we are on pgwp and have job offer for one 1 year does it consider without 1 year of experience? Or it needs to be lmia specific ?
Not sure about your ask.
Thank you for this helpful and detailed video. I’m confused with the question?Studying Full time while doing this job? YES/NO? I’m currently graduated and on PGWP. However i get my job while I was a student, I was studying full time while working. Do I answer No because I’m not a full time student anymore or Yes cause technically I did start working while in school. Your help will be appreciated, I’m kinda stuck on that question?
Hi, I am glad the video is helping, please do subscribe if you want to watch more videos like this on Immigration and making a better financial future. For your question, if its a part-time job, you can say "Yes", if its a full-time job, its not possible to do a full-time job while studying as per your work permit so that would make it illegal before you graduated. So make sure if its a transition from part time to full-time job, you have 2 entries, 1 for part time and 1 for full time. If you need any other help please feel free to book me tidycal.com/rajpatel

Thank you for the video. I am wondering first question in work education. The date I started working as a”NOC job” is it counts from my back home ? Or just Canadian experience
it counts as back home first time you studied, if your studies aligns with your primary occupation.
@@invest4k I have seen a different view on this: "For my Express Entry profile, previous and current work experience in Canada do not have to be in the same field".
Could you confirm this.
Hi @invest4k . I have a question for work history. I am applying for PR but curently I am not employed i am looking for new sector to work in. I worked a keyholder job which was part time, however I still worked full time hours and overtime. In work history do I have to provide the Indian experience or only Canadian one. What should I mention as per the above scenario?
Hi, In experience you can mention all your experiences for which you would like to claim points and can show Experience letter + pay stubs.
You are amazing, thank you!!
hey thanks for the information . I have one question does study and job needs to be aligned to be eligible for the express entry profile ?
Nope, no need to align right now.
Its blood relatives only
If i would to apply for Canadian experience class, Do i create this account first?Thank you so much
Yes you do
Hi this video is really helpful. But I have one question am I supposed to add my high school education in the education history?
Hi, I am glad. No, you dont need to add highschool
Thank you.
You can change those details if you received 0 points and reject the invitation if you received 50 points and wait for next round.
Dear brother, at which step i can add my kids information? For spouse it was very clear and easily added.
Thanks a lot... subscribed... its worth it.
Hi, if you are on a closed work permit "LMIA or exempt" , you will have to attach those proofs of valid work permit.
Thanks alot, This video is really helpful. As i am applying in 2024, i just have one question if i have degree from Canada's college. Do i need to do WES.
Hi, no you dont need wes for canadian degree but if your highest degree is from back home, to claim those points you need WES or similar ECA
Hi, while coming to Canada on a work permit my consultant didn’t add my previous experience without which i lack scores, can we add that experience while creating profile for cec?
Hi Raj. Thank you for the video. Based on the explanation given at the work experience section, does this mean that people without trades certificate from provinces in Canada can not apply under the Category-based express entry (Trades)? I have a BSc in Electrical Engineering and significant work experience as an electrician.
You can apply for skills trade if you have certificate in your home country, if you are living in Canada you need certificate from province.
Hello Raj,
Thank you for your video; it was incredibly helpful.
Glad it helped! CLB 7 is required for french draws, please try again.
Thanks!
Sure, I will look into it and plan to create a video or probably a live stream.
Your video is so detailed and helpful, thank you so much.
Please can you clarify this for me; 28:43 I was working full time with a company for over a year while being a student but I already have my pgwp now, will I be qualified for Canadian experience
Hi, working full-time while studies will make you ineligible for express entry CEC, only full time experience on a work permit is allowed.
Thank you
hey Raj thank you for a very detailed video! I was just wondering if for the question "was more than half the study program English or French as a second language courses?" we should answer No, I studied a bachelor in Canada, and everything was English, so No would be the right answer?

Thank you for the informative video. I have a slight doubt regarding a question in education section. I have completed 2 year pg diploma in Canada. It has a prerequisite of having to complete bachelor's for applying for the course.
My question is, what should I be selecting for the level of education for a pg diploma. The options im having
1.Two-year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institutes
2. Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
3. Master's degree, or professional
degree needed to practice in a licensed profession.
Hope you can help me.

I have a doubt about the question about Job Offer. If am on my PGWP working for a company for one year now, that does not comes under 'Job Offer' right(I give 'No' for Job Offer even though it's full time/no seasonal etc) . Instead I just need to add it in my work history.

Hi, thank you! Yes you can update your application without any issue, there will be option to view and transmit again in your account.
Hi, No you only created express entry profile, you never applied through express entry because you never received an ITA for PR so your answer can be No here.
