Thank you so much for this video. I bought a sausage gun and the sausage sealer...but couldn't get the plunger to pull back into the barrel to put the sausage in. I thought I was doing something wrong, so I watched your video and it helped me figure out how to get it moving. The plunger was so tight that I thought it was too big to be able to pull back. But I saw on your video that you can unscrew the barrel near the handle end. I did that I found that it was such a tight fit, that was the only reason I couldn't pull the plunger back. So I got it working before I screwed the barrel back on, and now I'm ready to seal around my aviary. Thanks again 😊
Great guns. You seem to be the only real game in town for the 28oz cartridge guns with a high thrust ratio. I'm tired of breaking my hands on cheap guns.
Thanks , that was a great video. I had no idea I could use a cartridge tube. It was also my first time using a sausage tube. I know it probably depends on the product but if I use only a portion of the product in the sausage, if i cover the nozzle, how long will it last in the nozzle? I use a water proofing product for showers by Seka. With 10oz cartridges I can use them up but with 20oz sausages I might have a third or more left over. Thanks
Hello, there are other factors that impact cure time which makes it difficult to estimate without more info. We recommend reaching out to the material manufacturer directly to get a more accurate cure time based on your conditions.
A bulk gun is used to suck up loose material out of a bucket and dispense. A variety of materials can be stored in these buckets. Bulk material is generally less expensive than alternative methods. Drawbacks would be that it can be messier and requires a bit more experience to use efficiently when compared to cartridges or sausage packs.
Hi Allen, Newborn's sausage gun cones (part #PC-620) work with both the 620AL and the shorter 610AL sausage gun. Our new self puncturing cones (part #PC-PUNCTURELG) work with both sizes as well.
Not so convinced on the wd40, a silicone product if there ever was one. You just contaminated the whole pail on the first fill, unless of course you were pumping silicone based rtv, and even then, I would not recommend that. How about creating a fill tube from an old nozzle, cut way back. Beats putting a contaminant in your product, or having to wipe off the end after bulk filling.

@@NewbornCaulkGuns It will actually last a considerably long time. Ive left it there for months. I use Sekaflex sausages a lot. thanks for the reply.
What thrust ratio number is preferable for ease of handling?
We recommend 18:1 thrust as it works well with most types of materials. If you only plan to use thin material, then 12:1 thrust would suffice.
Could u recommend a good pneumatic caulk gun
Hi Kevin, for a great pneumatic sausage gun (20 oz.), check out our model 710AL-20 here: www.newborncaulkguns.com/products/pneumatic/model-710al-20-2/
PU comes in tub, i like to make my own sausage and insert to chaulking gun.
Any idea of making the sausage
We recommend reaching out to a material packaging company to get more information on best systems to self-fill. Hope this helps!
poking holes on the sausage is lazy, foil often gets into the caulk through the nozzle. Use scissors instead, and you're on your way there boy
tnx sir
What’s a bulk gun for? I’m not familiar w what that large metal bucket is full of

It's for people doing A LOT of caulking.
I go through 10 gallons a day.
Anyone can answer me wether the nozzle is the same as the 11" sausage gun?
