I never get tired of this movie. Always find myself coming back to it. It has everything you could ever want in a film. Spectacular cast, great director, engrossing storyline(s), beautiful cinematography, and a terrific soundtrack. Definitely a masterpiece.
I watched for the first time after this video.... Dunno, maybe not my cup of tea storywise....But the cinematography that was something worth studying, complex long scenes without cuts, that was cool.
I love that you watched for the first time! Yah it’s a very specific tone and it’s definitely not for everyone. But I loved the same thing as you - the long takes w no cuts etc. and the story has a habit of staying with you long after you watch it! I still discover new things about it when I watch it now!

Boogie Nights is probably my favorite Paul Thomas Anderson film. It still holds up to this day.
