Nice setup, suggestion, your vacuum will work better if your release the volume of air blown into the trailer. I’ve installed a 4x8 sheet of fine steel mesh on the top of my dump truck to improve air flow and better debris distribution.
I take my roller tarp mesh off and put it over a two foot wide strip down the top of my truck then just put a 2x4 on each side and screw it down. Works great. My truck packs in fully
How many hours does it take to fill your dump trailer? Trying to get a sense for how quickly mine will fill up. Almost done with my setup, went with the DL18 and 20’ hose. Can’t wait to see what it can do! Thanks for your video, very helpful!
That has a lot of variables (wet , dry , etc, ) , in ideal conditions , with a large pile at the trailer , you could easily fill it in less than an hour. On large properties we mulch over once, bag with mowers and then dump at trailer , this allows us to dump the trailer less , saves a lot of time. Like to see yours when done. Thanks
We built a cradle out of angle iron to bolt it in and held it up in place with the tractor bucket , from there we started building down to the trailer frame. I know this probably is not much help but every trailer is going to be different. It is not currently mounted or I could take some pics to send , I may have some old ones. We set it up in late october , one of our landscape crews use that trailer most of the season. Thanks
Always charge your established manhour rate plus disposal , you will always make money this way. Everyone will vary on their manhour rate , based on location and size of business. Thanks
Man that's a great setup there. I'm hoping to get a dump trailer for next year possibly. The the debris loader by next fall time for sure
I love it. Im trying this same setup with the same trailer and vac! Could you post a close up of how you mounted it on the tongue?

We added a 2ft. x 4ft. vent on top front covered with mesh, it had some venting at the front and back but needed more. Thanks

How did you fabricate the mount for the Billy goat
Love that setup was that a bolt on or weld to hooks vac up on front

very nice setup man that trailer is 16 foot long? looks good
LOVE IT :-):-):-)
AWESOME VIDEO :-) :-) :-) :-)
I have the same suretrac and for the life of me can't figure out why they didn't put stake pockets on it.
I agree , we had to add bolt on pockets .
Looks like your have to remove the Billygoat to unhook the trailer from the truck?
We leave it hooked up for the leaf clean up season , but we use a floor jack to remove it if necessary. Thanks
Not enough air circulation. I bet it didn’t have the vacuum like that big monster could have.
Hey I have the 18ft hose this year. Do you lose any suction the longer you extend??
Suction seems to be real good , the guys have been using it everyday for a couple weeks without any issues. Thanks
Is that 2 hoses connected together? I just bought the 37 hp Billy goat with tye 14” hose and 10 ft length. 20 ft would be awesome
I’m about to get the same unit. How did you build your bracket to hold your billy goat.
We built a cradle out of angle iron to bolt it in and held it up in place with the tractor bucket , from there we started building down to the trailer frame. The tube isn't at the top, doesn't that cause fill up problems?
No it won’t
what hp is the leaf vac?
18 HP w/ 10 inch suction
I know osb is cheaper but still, why not use regular plywood
We used 5/8 OSB , it is actually more expensive than plywood and stays straighter , plywood tends to warp more. Thanks
what's the rates on work like this? I live in wv...

Awesome video! Does the 18HP work well? Thinking about getting one
Yes , even with 20 ft. of hose it has plenty of power.
Thanks
Great setup!! Where did you get the 20' intake hose?
The unit came with 10 ft. and we purchased another 10 , Billy Goat makes a kit for connecting the 2 hoses. Thanks
