The tight head that made every opposing loose head cut their sleeve to the shoulder. Probros. Legend.

Exceptionally inciteful, Probyn was a brilliant technician he is clearly a great student of the game. His analysis of the modern game and concussion is very well thought through and has real relevance. 1991 by the way was the Campese deliberate knock on which in todays game would have constituted an England penalty try and yellow card which would have lead to an England victory, fortunately the law with that regard changed eventually as a result of that particular Aussie gamesmanship.

Nigel are you going to stand strong this time and support the REFORM party all the way. Because this is our one chance to rid ourselves of Tory/Lab and get the country back on the straight and narrow, Quit the ECHR, deport or whatever deal with the boat people, reclaim our fishing areas , and get the health service back as it was at one time a great service.

Jeff Probyn , a great guy. I once was lucky enough to play a game of rugby with him. The Pot Bellied Pigs v Club I st Bali memorial game in HK just before the sevens. I was the hooker, Jeff was of course tight head. Anyway at the first scum it was our put in and the ball went in and i messed up the hook and we lost the scrum to Club. The next scrum Jeff says to me, you go tight head and I'll go hooker. So we did and we won our scrum. For all the wrong reason I have the distinction of having replaced Jeff Probyn at tight head. Jeff is one of the most down to earth guys you will ever meet we even shared a bucket of KFC in the South Stand together, with, of course, several refreshments. PB Spare Rib (AKA Jeremy Fearnsides)

Learn every day. Thought The Springboks invented Rush Defense? Maybe just that they do it so well and the rest not so well.

Look, it doesn't matter who England play against Samoa as they are all good players, it's that strategy that determines the outcome which means if England play a kick and tackle losing strategy they will lose. England need to remember their 2016 winning year of 13 out of 13 winning games of attacking rugby and lightening speed. Look, when I play rugby in the ancient mists of time I remember accelerating through the gain line of the opponent running diagonal lines and looking for support players and then it happened I got stuck in the muddy part of the field and the full back tackled me into touch covering us both in wet mud. Hahaha. Come on England play attacking Rugby with acceleration and score 10 tries. Hahaha.

I agree, Very well put, we need to find that explosive tempo in our backs and some imagination, predictable one dimensional rugby isn’t going to work.

Mileage is a bit tight. In 1991 I was getting £1 / mile for my business trips in London.

Gonna be funny when England go from playing McDonald's staff to the best professional players in the world if they get to a semi final
