I've always loved the implication that the Doctor and River got into such a heated argument she kicked him out (or more likely stole) the Tardis for a while, and he just sat around being sad with a bunch of otters
The scene when they stand down by the Thames is one of my favourites. Right after the regeneration. So delightfully sultry and a little insight into how alien he really is. Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman worked well together. They had great chemistry.
@@FloofMother I didn’t like sleep no more, in the forest of the night, the monk three parter, the magician’s apprentice/ the witches familiar, the girl who died, the robot of sherwood, the woman who lived and I really don’t like dark water and death in heaven.
@@ZarbiDW ok so you just didn’t like them, that doesn’t mean the plots were lacking. The forest of the night is the only one you could argue is bad but I’d disagree
@@FloofMother Nah the series 8 finale brought back said that brigadier lethbridge Stewart was trapped in the neversphere and turned into a cyber man. Which is a terrible end for his character and the cybermen are handled badly. Sleep no more was very ambitious but fell completely flat imo, in the forest of the night is flat out atrocious written, the series 9 davros 2 parter is good in concept but like into the dalek adds very stupid rules and limitations to the daleks that make no sense. There are many amazing stories as well though but the quality of the plots where very inconsistent

I love capaldi he is fantastic very underrated. I would just have to say the writing became foolish and nonsensical in his last season maybe half of his second to last season into his last season the writing became crap. And he is such a magnificent actor!

He was such a great doctor and they gave him some of the worst stories.
