  • How to become a Thailand Permanent Resident:
    www.thaikru.co...
Today, we talked about the only way you can become a citizen of Thailand, and we cleared up some wrong ideas. To become a Thai citizen, you need to first get a Thai permanent residency by acquiring a work permit.
You can get this by having a job, owning a business, or marrying Thai citizens. Then, you must demonstrate consistent tax payments for at least 3 years. After holding Thai permanent residency for several years, you can then apply for Thai citizenship.
If you're on a business visa, you need to earn at least 80,000 Thai baht every month. If you're married to a Thai citizen, you need to earn at least 40,000 Thai baht each month.
For foreign women marrying Thai husbands, it's most advantageous as you don’t need a Thai Permanent Residency, you can apply for Thai citizenship and your husband's salary should be at least 20,000 THB.
If you need help with all kinds of visas or information about Thai citizenship, we're here to assist you every step of the way. Just become our client, everything will be simpler and painless.

The costs of PR for me, 9:55 married to a Thai, far exceed the costs of extending my NON O married to a Thai visa in the long term. Yes, PR is more secure, but you pay for that security.

Been married for thirteen years, and while working in Thailand, I had the opportunity to apply for PR, it just wasn’t cost effective in the long run. If something were to happen to my wife, I have no problem leaving Thailand for another country. I could also switch to the retirement option.

Yes it makes sense if you are below retirement age and want permanent roots in Thailand. This video is not especially for your case.

@@thaikru Very few receive PR and even fewer Thai citizenship.

Very few apply for it. Because most people don’t know what it requires to get it.

I came to Thailand on an investor visa & my attorney says I can apply for permanent residency. I've only been in Thailand for 3 years.

Yes. An investor visa means you're on the tax paying rolls. Which means you can apply for PR after 3 years.

You cannot run a business in Thailand in person with a Tourist visa. However you can register a company in Thailand and operate it remotely from another country without being here.

I thought tourists visa was 30 day with 30 day extension

    • @thaikru
      @thaikru  4 месяца назад +1

      No. That’s a visa exemption.
A tourist visa is 60 days plus 30 day extension.

If you are from a visa on arrival country (VOA), you get no extension. If you arrive from a visa exempt country, you can apply for an extension.
