Amazon should have been totally S. Better than Fourze or other Rider shows.
ZX is in such a sad place in the tier list. While I agree that it deserves it's place its place in the absolute trash, toei did ZX dirty.

Build is a NO!? As much as I'm enjoying Zi-O right now, I prefer to watch Sento and Ryuga's slapstick and bromance than Zi-O's incompetent villains and characters' constant flip-flopping. Also, Build is lower than Den-O, Decade, Faiz... Uhuh, I need a psychiatrist now.
PS: Still, love that Kuuga is an S tier. That show deserves THIS👍.

Your reason for placing build in "No" is because everyone comes back to life, just no.
You completely missed the point of Builds ending. The main reason why Sento wanted to create the new world is to save everyone from Evol since he was destroying the earth and the only way to save it was to make sure the Sky Wall never happen. Showing how far Sento came to achieving his goal "Love and Peace" and not wanting any rewards. His revive friends are different people and don't remember what he did for the world but he's okay with it. Also, the people from the new world are different from the old one.
The reason why none of this makes sense will be explained in the Build review. Also, that is not the only reason it was put there.

Kuuga's my favorite. It just does a good job at being a show. Despite having less flashy stuff its one of the most binge watchable of the Kamenrider seasons. The pacing is solid and the Kuuga's forms help with the pacing for the first 30 episodes then the plot ramps up for the remainder and that final battle... Pure Masterpiece.
i would argue thats what makes kuuga amazing, but no masterpiece, it has everything going for it "except" one thing, being a uniquely developed plot and story, it very much has one and its good, but compared to the stories and world of Gaim, Build, etc, its much watered down, and Daguva as a main/final villian was nothing but, just a villian dude, personally i see kuuga as "the best generic season" it has everything but the flair, its def up there but its no masterpiece in my book, at least a high one

Super Sentai is definitely the most consistent Toku series.

@Strider Xanthos I agree with Grease and Mad Rogue being trash, Rogue's character assassination and stretched out story (seriously, if this show was 44-45 episodes long it would have been much better). Sento was still awesome, Ryuga was the best secondary rider since Mach. The relationships between them, Evolto, Misora and the world around them was done pretty good.
About Fourze:
-- Too much two parters - seriously, every episode is a fucking two parter, Some storylines were given too much focus like 2 episodes introducing JK or Daimonji, Perseus and Musca episodes were draging too much (the only redeeming party of Perseus episodes was Meteor), so did Cygnus and some later horoscopes episodes after Aries arc.
- very cartoony-like swithces - I get that the show had to promote the toys but sometimes it's killing killing the seriousness of the story. Some of them were used only once or twice I remember every fruit from Gaim and Medal from OOO but I can't remember most of the switches.
- What was the fucking point of Haru and Ran? I mean seriously, were they supposed to replace Miu and Shun? I think the writers realized that they fucked up and they reintroduced them later when they had no idead what to do with Pisces storyline. Haru was a fucking bitch, I wanted to punch his super punchable face. I don't understand why Ran was even friends with him, speaking of her - she was super bland with her only traits being aikido and protecting Haru. They could have easly introduced Pisces as a new character.
- Horoscopes turned into monsters of the week. I understand that when you have 12 Apostles premise for the villains you have to show that most of them were competent and something about them like backstory. At the same time Scorpio was in 18 episodes in which she was doing almost nothing until the end. Cancer had much more less screentime and he was much better villain. Imagine getting 4-6 episodes for each of them. Taurus was straight up bad, Capricorn just existed and was annoying. Aquarius was fine with her story, Gemini was weird.
- Kengo's death - what was the fucking point if he got revived. The scene when Yuki was reading the letter was so good that I shed the tear and then they ruined it by ressurecting it. Also what was the point of Presenter plot point? I don't urdenstand why was it even brought up when in the end it doesn't even matters.
- What was the point of the graduation if Miu and Shun were still around for the rest of the series?
Kamen Rider Kabuto is the best of the best, the characters and storyline are perfect. Tendo is completely op, he masters cooking, combating, almost any kind of sports, piano and knows four kinds of language. Not to mention that he has genius level intellect and peak human condition, even can dodge bullets. Kabuto hyper form can hyper clock up which is faster than speed of light due to its time travel properties and his combatant skills is unrivalled. He is the BEST Kamen Rider ever!!!!!

Build and Zi-O for me are C or D. BTW. Cuz the shows have a lot of problems with the story, the power ups, the mayority of the development of the characters. And the fact that Build is being overrated is too much. BUILD IS NOT BETTER THAT KUUGA. SENTO IS NOT BETTER THAT YUSUKE OR ICHIGOU. Deal with it.
I pretty much agree with where you have placed most of the shows on this list (yes, even Gaim...sorry Matt), but I do have to disagree about Zi-O. Zi-O is a D show at the most, and only for the returning actors from the earlier seasons. The first half where it altered the timelines of previous shows was executed terribly and made the good ones seem pointless (but it did make the previous bad seasons a little more tolerable, so there's that) while the second half feels lazy and half-hearted in comparison (there may have been a change in the main writer as the tone feels different). The Zi-O related suits are ugly (except for Ginga and Shinobi's), the henshin jingles are annoying, the heroes are overpowered and the villains we have are incompetent, except for the one villain that matters who is barely there. Worst of all is the plot and logic holes in the writing along the with the inconsistencies and dropped story points that pile up over time. Decade barely did anything of worth and the one good twist involving DiEnd went nowhere. I think the ending is going to be anti-climatic since they plan to have the "true ending" in the Zi-O movie. I could be wrong about that though.
However, if we can possibly agree on one thing concerning Zi-O it is this: Toei needs to stop giving Inoue work and keep him away from the computer. Those Kiva tribute episodes and Rider Time Ryuki are proof of that.
@@therussianwanderer4851 Oma Zi-O. He barely has a presence. I get that he's supposed to be the Kamen Rider version of Thanos, but Thanos has enough of presence where he is used just enough and still be menacing. Oma Zi-O does not (so far). As for my opinion of the heroes which are overpowered, they are overpowered in comparison to the monsters of the week and the Time Jackers who look silly in comparison. Grand Zi-O is ridiculous in its various abilities and how overpowered it makes Sougo look (so far). It may be enough when they have to fight Oma Zi-O, but for right now it looks uneven. Heroes are only as good as the villain that define them, and right now, the villains are sorely lacking in that area.
Did Zi-O also explain how Sougo went from wanting to become a king to make the world a better place only to end up as a tyrannical monster like Oma Zi-O? What happened in the future to make him change his views on power and how to use it? How did it corrupt him? These are genuine questions as I don't remember the show explaining that and I want to know if I missed something.

The cameos have no meaning at all, with the exception of Tsukasa, because they do not remember shit. They should only time travel between 2018/19 and future

Tsukuyomi after ep. 1 is useless, the villains are 2 kids, while old guy and Oma Zi-O just sit on their asses and watch how They lose.
The only good chatacter is Woz.
@@therussianwanderer4851 I have not seen Amazon (the original) or either season of Amazons (the new version). As for Inoue, he was not always a terrible writer. He was the head writer for Jetman and he did write several episodes of Liveman, which is another good classic sentai. The issue with Inoue is he has become too dependent on old tropes and is out of ideas. Though RTR was bad, in my opinion, it also has become a guilty pleasure of sorts for me as its poor execution has made it somewhat funny albeit unintentionally. Kiva's tribute episodes of Zi-O were at least memeable if nothing else.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but opinions are formed by watching the show and based upon actual things that happened in said show. I really don't see the hate for build, like it baffles me that people wanna judge that show based upon the last quarter of the show. And zio is way too high along with blade being too low
As much as I want to see my favorites higher on the list, I find it hard to disagree with this overall.
Gaim is an S for me, as is W (yes, I liked Akiko. Fight me.) with Ex-Aid being either S or A-tier. I'd probably rank Ryuki a bit lower, in B or C-tier, and push Build up to C or D as well. Fourze gets a No, and OOO could be a debate between A and B-tier. Ghost would also go up to No for me, because I honestly thought the first twenty or thirty episodes were pretty good! It fell flat on its face in the back half, but the first half was decent enough to warrant it not being in trash-tier. And honestly, I think our biggest disagreement will be on Kiva. I'm putting Kiva in solid B-tier. I really liked this show, in large part because I actually enjoyed Wataru's character and his growth throughout the show. Sure, he starts out pathetic and anxious, but he actually gets better, unlike pieces of shit like Wizard, Ghost, or Haruka from Amazons!
How about ranking the Kamen Riders themselves on a scale of weakest to most powerful?
It will be hard because some Kamen Rider power is inconsistent.

So far I'm enjoying wizard I can see where the issues are but it seems of the wall enough to enjoyable in the fighting I think with his in suit mannerisms if haruto was super cold on the surface and was the I'm better then you theme but by the end grew to something more would be great but so far not seeing development

@@KhanhNguyen-mh5ec Yeah, for me its between Build Genius debut and Grease Blizzard debut is where the show got to its lowest point , but in the episode in which Kazumi died, the show returned to its normal quality , the ending for me wasn't bad , a bit strange, but the New World Movies ruined a bit the show for me, they should HAVE used Zi-O as a somewhat continuation for Build.
DragonTops 2315 I agree. If they already set up the settings to the next show, they should have committed to the end. Like having the appearance of Swartz in a suit and hat watching Sento and Ryuga ride off to the sunset and reveal to the audience the Build Ridewatch.

@@shenanigans8353 I liked zi-o before they bought tsukoyomis ( i don't know if her name is spelled right) plot into the story. She was useless but involving her in the plot when the show is almost ending irks me. If you wanted her to be so important to the plot you should have started her angle earlier. White Woz was horrible as well for the story. You basically had 4 different plotlines going at once and the only one that made since was the Oma zi-o story. I enjoy zi-o but i think they destroyed the upswing of the show once white woz came in. I still don't know what the end game is for the show.
I don't watch alot of Kamen Rider, so can someone explain to me why the fanbase have such hugely different opinions on 90% of the shows? When you say "Timeranger, Jetman, Shinkenger, Gokaiger and Gekiranger are amazing" around Sentai fans or "Time Force, In Space, RPM and Dino Thunder are amazing" around Power Rangers fans, most of the fanbase sigh and reminiscent in the glory of those shows. If you say "Den-O, Build, Zi-O and Kabuto are amazing" you'll start World War III, lol.
Kabuki is a great show and I think it deserves something better then c I mean you didn't even talk that much about why you think it deserves c

They didn't revive the characters in build. They essentially combined with a separate universe. The only ones that remembered the other earth were sento and banjo.
Makaforchristtoshi The “Build New World” V-cinema has all the characters regain their memories of the other world. Also Evolt comes back to life, so they basically did revive all the characters.Essentially making the whole ending pointless.

@@iansmith1768 But it's a v-cinema it is optional and usually non-canon. I have yet to see a good one that takes place after the series. The nice thing about the movies the web series and the additional content is that it is truly optional and you can decide which parts of Cannon and which parts are not. As opposed to the whole episodic show in its entirety.

I've seen Skyrider and Super-1. I would've put them in D tier.
There is no way Zi-O is higher than Blade, Den-O, Kiva and Build. Almost in no point of Zi-O's story have the characters been compelling or really entertaining, nor have the events either been anything more than mediocre or downright irritating (it's especially weird to see it above Kiva when the Kiva episodes for the show are some of the worst material it has to offer). Even if they had their issues, Blade at least had an engaging story surrounding the Undead and Hajime, Den-O at least was a fun comedy, Build at least had fun characters and an engaging mystery plot, and Kiva at least...had a nice soundtrack and neat fights. Yeah, the last one barely stands above Zi-O, but it still makes the cut.
Point of this is Zi-O, more like Zi-No.

Ghost is worst then Kiiva, Decade, and Wizard. The main character even when dead died and came back to life multiple times and even almost died in a team up with Ex-aid.

Ex-Aid is an S. Like Kuuga, all of its characters are memorable and none of the Riders were nerfed. None of the Riders is also a bitch unlike Gaim who has BitchiMicchi.
Also, the category of good and bad in that show is a matter of ideology and survival. None of the villain you can truly call as absolute evils.
Another thing. Its ending was realistic.

I’m glad to see you guys put Build so low on the list. Build is a grossly overhyped show.
Could both of y'all explain how it is ovethyped? I don't see it. I really don't
Corbin Hopkins I can’t speak for other people’s opinions but IMO a lot of people downplay the narrative issues with Build (especially in the show’s final 1/3rd) since they like the characters. For me at least, the show simultaneously felt bloated and rushed at the same time. From the mid thirties onwards there was an egregious amount of filler content like the pointless Sento’s dad plotline, the tacked on “7th pandora panel” collect-o-thon, Evolt stalling on his plan for no reason, and all of the hit or miss Grease/Mii-tan humor scenes. However, while all of this was going on, Gentoku, Utsumi, and Takumi Katsuragi all got sidelined and received little to no character development despite having stories to tell. Build’s last couple of episodes don’t bother me too much but by that point any good will the show had built up with me during the earlier episodes had all but disappeared, so I was left feeling frustrated that such a promising show had gone downhill so much. I wouldn’t personally put Build as low as the Tokucast did but I also do not agree with the people putting it among the greats of the Kamen Rider franchise. I would personally put it at a C or a D.
OkMakuTree I feel like you hit the nail on the head with your comment. Now I want preface this by saying that I don’t hate Build, but it’s not my favorite show either. My main problem with Build is that the show has a lot of problems (mostly after the Coss-z Magma debut), yet so many fans regard the show as being some perfect masterpiece.
Ian Smith I don't think it's a master piece and I see where you're coming from. But I feel like people judge that show based off the last third and forget how good it was up until magma got introduced. Not my favorite but to me at least a B show. And I liked the ending not counting the movies. Just main canon
Corbin Hopkins I think those people’s judgement is justified, a lot of the lesser elements of the latter half retroactively change the earlier parts of the show. For example: Banjou having Evolt’s dna makes his status as the “everyman/underdog” of the show pointless, because he isn’t just a normal guy who gets by with his own determination anymore, because it turns out he’s essentially “the chosen one” now.
I think Black should be in S . I konw the first half was okay ,but the second half kills Kuuga itself and many of neo heisei kamen riders series and the finale was glorious
