When I have camped out in cold weather I had warm clothes, cozy tent...but at times after a few hours asleep...I would wake up cold,. No matter how many covers I had. I found out when this happened I had to eat spoonful of peanut butter! I would be warm within minutes. So I slept with a jar of the stuff and a spoon. My body had run out of fuel ! Thanks Bjorn for nice outdoor videos..hot cocoa coffee and campfire! 👍👍👍👍👍❤️🔥 Take care...BB from somewhere in Louisiana
I love my Xmid 2 tent! A few people have made hot tents using just the outer fly of the xmid including Dan Durston himself! It is such a versitile tent. I use mine in winter without the inner. You can easily fit 2 people, 2 dogs, and all your gear in that way. Also love my Outdoor Vitals quilts! They have never let me down. Always kept me warm. Even in temperatures below what they are rated for. I keep looking at that same attachment to turn a sleeping pad into a chair. I've had a few times where that would have made things even more enjoyable. My wife and I have said the same thing about every time we get out into the wilderness. It's always something different each time. And, it's always wonderful because of that!
A hammock would have been great for that first area you were at, unless you’re an exclusive tent fan. Thanks for taking us with you into your wonderful local landscape. 👍🏼✨
🇧🇻 My Grandparents on one side we're from Setesdal, Valle and on the other side from near Vasness. With that Strong background I moved to.... ARIZONA!! ;)*
Upper Peninsula of Michigan , we have almost 1700 miles of coastline , the whole eastern coast of The United States has just over 2000 miles of coastline , but we can drink our water , they can’t ! And I still say ? The Upper Peninsula of Michigan , looks just like Norway , once in the woods , enjoy your day ! We enjoy ours!
Once again a fantastic woodland video. Of all the videos you post, these and the fireside chats are far and away the best!! Keep them coming and be well my friend!!
Thank you very much for the video. Very interesting video. Stunningly beautiful area. I really liked the atmosphere. People in ancient times chose picturesque places for burial. There are very few trees in the area where I live. Here is the steppe, where you can see everything for tens of kilometers. But even in such places, people found stunningly picturesque places and set mounds on them. I have been to such places. I can fully agree with you.
Excellent video from start to finish. Beautiful panoramic view, the tombs of the ancient inhabitants that represent not only the heritage of your ancestors but also have a broader meaning (as it represents what those people lived and built in that resting place, it is an energy that the place emanates that is difficult to explain). And an overnight stay in nature. Congratulations on the video Bjorn. This type of video (along with nature and what is real and meaningful in life) is the most beautiful for me.
Great to see you out in the woods enjoying real life with a smile. Always surprises in nature, some good, some not so good but it's worth the experience every time. Nice tent that Durston, hard to find here. Thanks Bjorn for the adventure, showing off the beautiful forest and bringing me along. See you next time. Enjoy!
That was really cool. Your camera is amazing, I found myself ducking my head a bit as you walked up near branches. Beautiful country you have there. This place we call home is filled with beautiful scenery of so much diversity depending on where you are. We are blessed to have this opportunity called life if we only can take hold to it and live. As you we’ll have. ✌️
Great Video and what beautiful scenery and few if any other Humans to mess things up. The gear used in this video looks like an excellent set up. When watching this sort of video i forget about everything else, frees the mind for a short while.
Much Love Bjorn to you and your Family and I Love coming along for the hike with you!! I Absolutely love Climbing trees!! Tree's are my safe haven when in need of a recharge! I climb up and roost for awhile. The tree's gently rock me back & forth . Ahhhhhh! I Love the Forest and all creatures great & Small! Keep on Keeping on Brother!! Enjoying all your Videos!! ❤🌟❤
Beautiful place where you and Peter camped. I enjoy camping but definitely not in the winter 🥶. I admire you and others who don’t seem to be bothered too much by the wintry conditions!
For your considered Bjorn (as well as any others reading this comment ) - you may enjoy a y/t channel Canadian Prepper for great content & info Think you two would be a great duo to podcast or interview . So enjoy hearing from you both on interesting & informative commentary
BBH, I too have the Watch for Me on the Mountain novel by Carter, were you reading that? Appreciated the entire video particularly something about the lookout of the Fjord and the burial mound; the words you struggled to find to explain your feelings we're the perfect words!
Hilser fra Rogaland. Her har det vært skikkelig stiv kuling den siste uka, et par furutrær har falt over i skogen ved siden av huset vårt. Koselig video, kjenner det er på tide å få fram teltet igjen nå som snøen har dratt~
Great video - the ocean scenery and the burial cairns were nice to see! What were the overnight temperatures you were dealing with while camping? Wind chill? Were you comfortable enough to sleep well? Here in Maine USA, we are experiencing 10 to 15 degrees F (-12 to -9 degrees C) overnight - I do not think I would do well in a tent without a stove! 🥶 I love your outdoor adventures, Bjørn, please keep them coming! 🥰
You no Bjorn I use to have migraine but now I don't always remember , it's what you are eating what causes it , my case it was dairy products , just thought I let you no 👍
Yay, overnighter

What do you mean by hot tent?
1000Euros is not a price i want to pay for a tent, i'm sorry.
The music was fitting on for THE Sahara!!!
I think so too, haha.
I LOVE the woodland adventure videos you create, especially the ones with overnight camping!
You should go with him just ask..Sandra... never know what could happen
You guys are eating better in the woods than most people eat in restaurants 🤪
When he dropped the camera I thought "Well the Jotuun finally got him"
A hammock would have been great for that first area you were at, unless you’re an exclusive tent fan. Thanks for taking us with you into your wonderful local landscape. 👍🏼✨
If what you are doing doesn’t keep one grounded then I don’t know what would
May you find inner peace and happiness in you endeavors

That tree climb .. was a masterpiece ❤
I love these local woods!
bjorn: climbs tree
camera: *my time has come*
Hey! Instead of the promised bird's-eye view of the tent, we got a worm's-eye view of the pine needles!
Once again a fantastic woodland video. Of all the videos you post, these and the fireside chats are far and away the best!! Keep them coming and be well my friend!!
That dawn was breathtaking!
Glad you liked it!
What beautiful views, thank you for taking the time and effort to bring them to us and share another part of Norway

Thank you, Licinio. That was great feedback for me and it meant a lot, to be honest.
@@BjornOutdoors Are you from NORWAY?
@@BjornOutdoors I second that. Great panorama.
@@BjornOutdoors One caveat, though.
Nordic people have many qualities.. food preparation is not one of them 😅

Hei Hello from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan
I just love your presentations. Keep them coming!
End of january and no snow in Norway and no rain in basque country lands (North-East of Spain), different year in all europe.
Oh what a beautiful sight
Glad you enjoyed it!
I like the way you ended your video with the music. It all meshed together well and you were sending really good messages of wisdom.
A much needed mini-break
Was quite a search to find this video channel..
Sorry to hear that. It is in all my video descriptions since I started this channel, though.
Tortellini not ravioli! Either way a delicious meal amongst the winds and cold woods.
The spirits of loved ones are always with us when we visit such places.
The veiw is amazing bjorn lucky you!!!

There are no words when it comes to feelings. Love those woods, thank you for posting such "cool" adventure, I'm now on a 30º C...

When you say “bird’s eye view” you’re not screwing around. You’re serious!
We love the "Viking Tree climbing Spiderman!" :)
A very clumsy one!
Great video
The view is breathtaking! I spent the day in a maritime forest, 80 degrees, with spoonbills and alligators.
That sounds totally awesome.
after house, the bush that's so twisted would make nice walking staff
Love to the pagan community 🇬🇧❤
Thanks for the video you look very relaxed and not stressed. Amazing views and a very interesting hike with history.
Glad you enjoyed it, Chris!

Thanks for the comment on that. In my case, no. But I don't eat or drink much of that anyway.
Greetings, Mr. Bull-Hansen!
I hope this is not too out of subject, but has Jomsviking been released in Spanish yet?

It will be very soon. You can find a link at my website. Link in video description.
