Nothing happier on earth than a father showing his son craftsmanship
It seems his son was camera shy.
I live in Washington state. I can tell you, if more Texans knew you, they would ask you to keep the Texan flag. That is a proud state, full of mostly strong type people. People who help the world go round', instead of dragging it down.
I spent time as an intern at The Center of Wooden Boats in Seattle. I have wonderful memories of Seattle before it went full on nuts. Keep well.
Thanks for the compliment brother!
I'm Tennessean, lived in Texas 13 years, the Texans I know would want Bjorn to keep the patch on the jacket.
Also live in Washington, former 80’s era Louisianian, Texas neighboring state. I concur and verify my fellow Washingtonian’s statement on Texas-cause we are neighbors. Diverse people also-some a bit crazy but some entirely sane reliable Texans! Hardy group of people!
I live in Washington State also and can tell you im not very happy to see my state go down the toilet 🚽 the way it is only getting worse to.
I am so proud that you will wear the Texas flag. My Dad was stationed there when he was in the Army, so I lived there when I was a baby. Texans are strong, honest, hard-working people.
Never tell Bjorn he can’t do something cause he’s sure to do it! Remember his wooden cellphone with his “vax pass” that says, “Bjorn can do whatever he wants.”
Bjorn had the smartest smartphone of all. Missed the vax pas. I might have given one of those to my plant manager
You live such a peaceful existence and speak the truth on so many subjects. Thank you for posting these outdoor videos. They are therapy to do many.💪🏼
As a native Texan trying to endure another long hot summer, I enjoy watching your videos as a respite from the heat outdoors. I LOVE seeing our state flag on your jacket!
You would get along great with Texans, for sure. It's awesome to see you sharing your love of the outdoors with your son. 👍
I loved the music in the opening of the video.
❤
As a Texan I am proud to see that flag anywhere!
Keep flying it proudly and come see us!
The only country flag that represent freedom,,im canadian and i love the american flag more than the one we have,,the one we have is a maple leaf, to me it signify weakness,,limp as a dead leaf in the fall,, red like the blood sucked out of everyone that live there.
respect also the texan flag.
Sweden is beautiful thank you for sharing.
I'm glad you have that adventurous relationship with your son. My father and I never did much more than fishing. Get outside with your kids while you can, folks. Important memories.
Always enjoy your insights about the current world and the natural sites that you share with us. I am now a Texan having left the Left Coast of the US decades ago and find that your feelings mirror many of the ones I have found among the native Texans who have welcomed me to this state. So, you should keep wearing that flag. Please come to Texas and the other states as well, and enjoy the variety of natural wonders that can be found here. As for the cities, they are cities, explore at your own risk. Wildlife is so much more pleasant to be around, you just have to be careful with the bigger critters. Some of them suffer from PTSD - Pesky Tourist Stress Disorder. Looking forward to more of your videos. And thanks for letting us visit with you. And for those that you come across who don’t understand the miracle of nature, do as Texans do - just “bless their hearts”.
Tennessean here, lived in Texas for 10 years. The Texans I knew would be honored for Bjorn to wear the Texas flag.
so nice to see you out in the woods with your son, your face looks very happy throughout the video
Thank You Bjorn for sharing this wonderful video with us.
Much Love and Hugs to You and your son.
PEACE. Quiet, no cell towers, no houses, and water! Beautiful!!
Absolutely LOVED the drone vieuw! We don't have that extensive forests here in the Netherlands, but I still try to go to the forest whenever I can.
Also, I love your hair, and you're a positive, intelligent and knowledgeable man. I love listening to your advice, and looking at your video's. Your voice is really soothing. Thank you for taking us with you.
Thank you, that's so kind of you to say. And I am glad you noticed the drone footage. I was very happy with how that turned out!
Always a special treasure to spend time with Bjorn & Son. Skal!
Outstanding video, Bjorn!
Thanks a lot!
Beautiful scenery. Great video! Take care Bjorn💕
It is such a wonderful privilege to be able to go on these virtual journeys into the wilderness because natures beauty overrides the virtual into reality. The first observation I made with this adventure was the pure quietude and how it silenced all the other chaos around me. As always, thank you.
Peaceful and quiet with beautiful trees everywhere. Who could ask for more??
Incredible nature scenes.
It is a nice surplus jacket ,I've got a wool one from the Vietnam era ,I also left my patches as they were .Love this Channel thanks Bjorn .
That 1980s woodland pattern is such a classic
Texas would be proud of you, Bjorn! You respect nature and wildlife. Texas is a large state hosting diverse habitats. (bible belt is the only problem, Bjorn)
Love ur outdoor channel its the best u are so lucky bjorn its so beautiful where u are !!!
Skal Bjorn, and son,,greetings from the ohio woods,,thank you for letting us go camping with you,it was great
Your outdoor videos always give me peace
It made me happy the first time I saw the Lone Star flag on your jacket. If you make it to South Texas, I'll give you a hearty welcome in San Antonio.
Videos like this always make me think of my ancestors.
With all the changes and drawbacks of technology in our era, it is wonderful to have moments like this documented. Your family
Is fortunate to have this as a record.
I would be amazed to see how my US colonial ancestors from Sweden lived. Bjorn, not only will your grandchildren have these recordings---generations of your family will probably have these recordings --in perpetuity. Wonderful!!
Nice to camp with you virtually. Too bad my father never like outdoors type stuff. So it was always me alone in the wilderness.
This Texan is proud to have you wearing our flag.
I always enjoy your videos and admire the surroundings where you live and/or film them. This video, in particular, was very calming with the beautiful scenery and back-drop and the accompanying music. The video shows some similarity to much of Arkansas, the state in which I, currently, live which is in the Ozarks-region of the US. It is easy to see why you choose to film and spend so much of your spare time outdoors, where you live. I would do the same, if I lived there, and try to do much of that where I live. Easy to de-compress and get-back in touch with yourself and other things, that way. I mimic the requests for you to keep that Texas-flag, since I am a native-son of Texas(was born there and lived there for a long time) and am fortunate to have TEXAS stamped on my birth-certificate. When I had my DNA tested to determine my lineage, I expected to see something akin to....98% Texan, but it didn't show that. Will see you at your next video. Keep them coming.
You are much happier and content when you are out camping.
Incredible. Such a beautiful place, so inviting.
Allt gott!
Hip hip hooray for allemannsretten! Next time Elvis & Feline gotta go too! 🐶 ☺
Amazing video and beautiful scenery! I've lived in Texas most of my life & think you'd love it here. It's still rugged & wild in a lot of the state. I've also heard that Native Americans use to leave the heads of their hunted kills in the trees so that the spirit of the animal can return to the forest; and also keeps other animals from destroying it. No doubt a way to honor the hunted.
Looks like an amazing overnighter. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
I so much enjoyed this video. What a beautiful trip into nature. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Greetings from South Carolina. Thank you for sharing this, it is absolutely beautiful there. Great video and great hair as well 😂🤣😂
I visited my friend in Sweden a few weeks ago. I just wish I had seen more of the forests there, it looks so nice in this video. Stay well Bjorn.
I welcome you and your son to Sweden! 👋🇸🇪🇳🇴❤
Camping trip with your son. Golden times. Especialy in such a beautiful place.
Great vid 👍 Thank you 👍
Greets from the Netherlands, T.

The knife demo. Interesting....The skull...mysterious. thanks
hmmm.........., at 65plus years, the first thing I thought of, was taking my grandbaby on an adventure. So Lovely there. Smiles, love cin
Wow what a peaceful spot to camp in for the night.Great Video.
Thank you for sharing. Makes me want to take my sons camping. Load up the gear!
Thank you, Bjorn. I always enjoy and appreciate your videos.
The scenery is beautiful. I would love to visit Norway and Scandinavia at large...and Texas. Thank you for sharing! 😄
Breathtaking islands. Could almost smell the cool fresh chill. Thank you
I think the flag patches are awesome Bjorn. Wear them with pride.
So beautiful! So wonderful to watch the journey of a father and son.
Greetings from Louisiana
Hej KP ! Have a Fine Day !
Wow that does look absolutely beautiful there. I've never been kayaking but I might have to check into it some day soon.
I've the Casström myself it was my first high end buschcraft knife, I love it. Also extremly easy to make feather sticks with so on, it's basically the only knife you need it feels like.
Also I was my first time to Norway now in July (I live in Sweden in the south, it's pretty flat down here) Norway is really beautiful with the Fjords, was in Vossangen for 2 days (was in Oslo and Bergen also)
The area there is so beautiful!✨️💫💜 Thank you for sharing!🤗 I look forward to more camping videos 😊
Thanks A Million for taking us along !
It was great to join you on that adventure, Bjorn! Thanks for an awesome video!
Thank you again for your videos. Also I love your response to the negative Texas comments. Love the channel . Thanks from North Carolina be well sir
Those were from people who don't like the USA, I believe.
As a Texan, I'm glad you wear it.
I am so glad you went to Sweden. I always wanted to know what it looks like. One day I want to visit Amsterdam, but I will probably visit Scotland first. I want to get in touch with
my Scottish heritage. Sorry I have not written in awhile. I had to get a new apartment and have been fixing it up. I plan to visit boulder falls in Colorado soon and do some hiking
in Roosevelt national forest in Colorado. Thanks for inspiring me to travel and camp. I plan to get my passport soon.
Colorado man here. I love how Norway and Sweden look so much like Colorado, USA - except that you there in Scandinavia have the sea and coast, of course.
Such beautiful nature. What a cool, fun vid! I go camping with my son here in the wilderness of my state as well.
From Marlin, Texas. If you come visit, probably should be in the winter. It would feel like spring to you.
Display the flag and be an Honorary Texan.
You wear both of those flags proudly my friend. We real Americans appreciate the fact that your values are much the same as ours and welcome you into the fold.
Watching this brought tears to my eyes. I miss you Father. To your Son, please enjoy every moment you can with yours. I sorry for telling you what to do. I did not expect my Father to go but my Queen prepared my mind to help me through it. Even when you are old, do as much as you can with your family/Father. Safe travels and love from Australia. ps i did not know about this channel of yours.
Just love your countryside views, thank you 😊 enjoyed the knife demonstration
Beautiful! It me of my home province in Canada. Northwestern Ontario where The Sleeping Giant provincial park is…sparsely populated. Im in BC. Another very beautiful province.
Lol..about your hair, the fellow who commented might be bald. Hair envy:)
Hello Bjorn-Wonderful to see you! From North Carolina here. I am a new subscriber & enjoy your videos very much!
Great spot. Beautiful and piece full at the same time..
Incredible Beautiful Place on Earth... GREAT drone footage! Thank you~~~
What a beautiful place. Camping cot with a pad on top is the way to go! Thank you for sharing.
Another awesome mini-break - thank you!!
Also, thank you for reviewing the knives. I always appreciate reviews and knife details.
The silence out in the woods. I love it and I will achieve that soon
Looks similar to the "boundary waters" in northern Minnesota. I can see why so many Scandinavians settled in that part of the US. Similar weather & landscape
Love the Adventure Videos!
That's a beautiful little island you camped at. It looks like something out of a story book.
I too was wondering about the Texas flag patch on your jacket. As a native-born Texan, I'm glad you decided to continue displaying it. I hope you can make it here some day, but other than a few national parks out in the far western part of the state, there aren't a lot of wild areas left to explore in Texas, but there are still lots of fun things to do and see! Plenty of great barbecue joints too!
We have those little buggers here in the states, in the north. They hit hard just as the summer air hits around 50 degrees.
Knife so sharp you can use it as an axe. Amazing.
I'm from Texas and I'm proud you wear the flag on your jacket. I would love to have a patch from your country of origin 😊.. Love your videos.
I love your hair , and seeing you with your son. I have wonderful memories of camping and fishing with my father . Sure would love for you to come to the USA . I am in Ohio
This reminds me so much of the NorthShore and Boundary Waters in Northern Minnesota
I really appreciate this video. More than I can put into words at this time.
Oh, thank you so much for saying that. I am very pleased with how this video turned out and that area is just stunning. I am going to go back and explore more.
Love what you do! Keep doing what you do best!! Xx
Look ahead 👀 😅
So wonderful to still be able to get out into nature… thanks for sharing, what a neat tent with an opening for a chimney! How does it keep from catching on fire with the heat? Pardon my ignorance. Last question are there bears on those islands? Can’t wait for the next adventure… take care.😊
That place is beautiful 👍
Great stuff
You always cheer me up ! I like the story about the guy who doubted your hair. He’s probably just jealous. Beautiful place you went……hope you get time for another trip soon. Thanks
Native Americans would stick the skulls of the animals hunted in the area on trees so other people could know what was around to hunt. You can tell if the certain animals were around by how decayed the skulls were.
Also you should definitely go to Texas only been once but it was amazing!! Hopefully one day I can go back!!
We used to leave trophy heads of deer, sometimes fox, etc... out for the maggots and flies to clean. Collect them later.
What is the music played in the video?
Love it❤
thank you beautiful relaxing place. salute
What a beautiful country
Swedish knives are particularly interesting to me. A second cousin brought back three from Stockholm in the early 1950's. They were rumored, but not marked to be Eskatuna stainless steel. The only mark seen is "Rostfri" Reindeer boned handle and leather sheath with button attachment provision.
Get a hold of Uncle Ted about that trip to Tejas ! 😂
Thank you...
You would love northeastern Minnesota and Upper Michigan.
Priceless.
A neat little tip i learned about batonning wood is that when your knife gets so far down and stuck, instead of pulling it out, just lift it and the log up and strike the log on the ground. It will drive the knife further in. Work smarter, not harder.
I would advice against it.
@@BjornOutdoors out of curiosity, granted I haven't tried it myself yet, but why not? Would you run the risk of damaging the knife? Or would it cause a higher risk of self Injury maybe?
