Another great song choice! Sturgil has a lot of different sounding stuff. You should check out Billy Stings- Dust in a Baggie (live version from the Opry) and Ian Noe- Letter to Madeline (album version).
You might be introduce this artist's music to people with (some of them for the first time) the video/song in its entirety, even if it costs you in views/monetization.
I was all jazzed to hear a Scotland native react to a deep Sturgill Simpson song. I was thrown off by the cuts made in the video/song. You couldn't hear the song in its entirety, odd choice.
Hey man great video as always when you have a chance could you do hank Williams jr country boy can survive or Chris staplton scarecrow in the garden please
Why would you not read the lyrics ahead of time so that you have some idea of what the song is about? As it is, the most you have to say is, "This is very cool," which it is but so much more than that and you might have had something interesting to talk about.
I like to go in blind and try not to know anything about the song. Don't want to spoil it for myself! I think it allows a more genuine reaction that way.
These lyrics are definitely worth delving into.
Sturgill is a helluva writer.
When you have a chance, look up his performance from SNL, Call to Arms. Absolute killer band, and having a lot of fun.
Awesome! I will do. Thanks Dave.
@@Cm42TV Do a reaction to it? It's one of the best live performances that SNL has had.
@@Lightningrod75 Added the performance to my playlist man! Coming soon for sure... Thanks!
Glad you liked the video! I made it believe it not haha, I didn't know reaction videos to it even existed until today.
Sturgill produced Tyler Childers album "Purgatory" and co-produced "Country Squire" I believe.
Oh cool, lil' bit of trivia there! Thanks for watching man!

Got Letter to Madeline coming up soon I believe, I shall check the other out. Thanks for watching Mike!
This song is about a DMT trip. He talks about it on the Joe Rogan Show.
Stur-jill. Listen to Breaker's Roar
Awesome reaction. Keep it up.
Thanks Terry!
