Where is the 4th down winning tackle? I would say that is the best highlight. Even though the refs tried to steal it from the jaws at the end. Terrible respot of ball after marking it short then remarking it with a extra step in the wrong direction. Thank goodness the head ref was not on the take. 😅

Are there any still thinking Navy AD Gladchuck’s classless locker room firing of Navy’s all time winningest coach Ken after Navy’s loss to Army year was anything but stupid? Some fine individual Navy player moments today but lots of Navy’s offensive coaching calls were perplexing.
Coach Ken had to go. Lots of sloppy play here tonight (and tons of heroics by the defense), but Coach Ken lost a lot of winnable games because he couldn’t manage the clock (maybe it’s systemic).
@@houserusnaAt the heart of my issue is how rudely the firing of coach Ken was handled by the Athletic Director (and that wasn’t the first thoughtless stupidity and misplaced priority of AD Gladchuck). Coach Ken always put the mission and integrity of Navy foremost. His loyalty was such that he once turned down coaching at BYU where his son was playing. He loved Navy and was intensely loyal. He deserved a far better send off. Hopefully coach Brian will prove similar but as to actual coaching his offensive calls at the end weren’t exactly inspiring. Still Navy players had some great moments especially on defense.
Silverfield has been good, not great, but steady. Keeping Memphis respected and getting about 85-90% of this programs potential on most years. I think he's a good coach, but would struggle at any unestablished P5 school coaching. Hopefully he feels at home at Memphis. He's pretty young, and over a reasonable period of time I could see them making the 12 team playoff as a high seed 3-4 years down the road. Good coach. Cant say great just yet.
As a Memphis fan for 30+years..i don’t know about Ryan silverfield…it just no excitement ….did he learn anything from novel offenses side? Going to be just average team long as he be here

Memphis might be the team to do it. I'm not saying that they'd beat Georgia 3, or even 2, out of 10 times, but all it takes is one time. We'll know much more about them when they play Missouri, another SEC team, next weekend.
They were lucky to get away with this win.

I missed the spread -14 I was tight when they coughed the ball at the 1 yard line. Well for practice this week they need to work on tackles and stopping the run gap. Also they need to work on more pass routes

Memphis looked like a high school team playing defense against a team like Georgia in the first half. Navy is not Georgia. Tackle like a man! Looked weak. That's not gonna cut it going forward. The running game is pathetic too. Lucky to escape with a win.
Wait a minute I heard of this kid I played him against football he used to play for this one high school team from Mount Lebanon Pennsylvania Alex Tecza it was in the semifinals against the Mount Lebanon Blue devils I played for State college little lions so that is the team that we played actually

I didn't watch the game, but I just checked the highlights. On the 4th down at the end of the game, the Navy receiver caught the pass at the 10-yard line. The official initially came in on that line for the mark, but the ball was then placed on the 9-yard line. ?????? This is why I say that all sports with officials are fixed. Even though it was eventually determined that Navy didn't make the 1st down, it should have been obvious that it wasn't close. I can't help but think that the officials are either getting paid or have money bet on the outcome.

Good for video replay. Actually it wasn’t even close so bad initial ball placement by the official. Navy’s play calls in the last ten minutes were really not good.
