Basically the most beautiful art I've ever seen.
Love the textured ‘frame’ along the edge of the canvas. And each of the rectangles looks like a piece of stained glass. Really nice concept and execution!!
Ohhhh the satisfaction of pulling off the masking tape! The finished painting looks like a stained glass window!! Love it!

This is beautiful and therapeutic, all at the same time. I can't wait to try this myself. I'm a psychologist and I think this would be a rewarding and satisfying project for a few of my patients. Bravo, John!

J'ai eu une période difficile et je me suis mise à la peinture a cause de toi et ça m'a tellement aider. Maintenant je suis tes cours qui sont super, je progresse très vite avec tes cours et j'ai beaucoup de félicitations sur mes peintures. Everything from the 3D border, made from modeling paste I presume, to the beautiful colors which remind me of coloured windows of Istanbul. Your paintings take me to a whole journey. ♥️

Most of this piece reminds me of a Piet Mondrian painting. I like it a lot! The nod to those who came before us is always nice. I like the softness you’ve added with your color choices. Awesome work as usual!

It depends on the paintings. Between 1 hour and 4 hours.

Sometimes i have issues with the consistency of my colours. Your colours seem so smooth and viscous?
How do you do That?
And another quesitos: which tape do you use for your paintings, cause my paints soak through it?

Thank you, it's mostly my painting techniques and the way I apply the paint that give this result.
I use 3M or Tesa as masking tape.

I love this, so much! Reminds me of some of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture and furniture he made for the many buildings he created.
I love the music and moments of silence where we hear the paintbrush or the tape coming off as well. I find that peaceful too!

I am an architectural fanatic, and had the joy of owning one of the homes that one of his students built. The work of his gives one plenty of inspiration to play off of.
