I've taken a break from painting and watching your videos for a year now. Not that I wanted to, but being a chef takes up a lot of time. I have just binge-watched a bunch of your videos, and I am so inspired. I have so many canvas that need a new life! I just cleaned my art studio last week. I am pumped! Thank you, John!
This is easily one of the best examples of layering. There was a compelling fluidity and grace from the first drop of paint right to the signature at the end!
John, your Artwork is Priceless and Awesome. Watching what you do, makes me want to what you're doing. Love this one that you did with tape and white paint on a black background. Reminds me of a Pink Floyd music cover. I've been watching a lot of your videos tonight and I Love what you do. Doing paintings in different styles. I can go on :) I'm 63 years young, new to painting and learning things on RUclips. You now have a new Fan/Follower. Thanks for sharing what you are Great at doing :)
So I have to be honest, these videos with lines are not my favorite, BUT I watch them all because there is so much technical skill, time, effort and love put into each painting. It may not be a favorite but I still admire your work and I thank you for being so versatile in everything you do

I am happily working through your You Tube library. I have probably watched 30 or more so far but this is by far my favourite. You make it seem so effortless but it is far from it I know. It takes such vision to imagine what it will look like when each new layering of tape is removed.
So Amazing! Such an elegant work- such perfect lines, creating the 3 dimensional shapes; I have never seen shading in light contrast- was beautiful!!!!
I wondered if you worked with highlights and today you showed such amazing wonders. I see glass tubes and light going in so many directions. (Makes me think of my old laboratory). I am in awe. Thank you.
I love the background just as much as the foreground in this dark piece! The light yellow contrasting lines on each side, bring a ray-of-light & balance to your magnificent composition!!!!!!! You are a friggin Juggernaut!! 🖌💪🎨👊

I’ve been watching you for many years. I get excited on Fridays saying to myself, “IT’S FRIDAY!! JOHN’S NEW VIDEO WILL BE OUT TODAY!!” I also am enjoying the mix of some music with paint sounds then a few minutes of only painting sounds. This technique is gorgeous. The layers of wash create such a depth of color! It's certainly not as bright as some of your other amazing work, but it has such subtle intensity. Thank you, as always, for sharing your process.

I've always admired being abstract as a little girl round 3 4 and from then on I always had dreams of different specs of colors shapes lights all around and a dark huge space maybe this is where my heart is panting I love painting ever since I was a little didn't get a chance to really get in touch with it now on 31 getting back to it hope it matters and I hope anyone who's thinking they can't do something to be happy this is where it is right here all you have to do is take your time and do what you want on a canvas with paint
