Hello I’m an ordinary person who admires knowledge, I am no genius nor math or psychics expert at all but at my 34 I started feeling this necessity to learn , learn, learn. I do apologize for my grammar, Spanish is my first language but i have all my credentials to be able to call myself “bilingual”. Enough about me. I just found this channel after eating book after book about history: mexican history, American history, Chicano history, Latin America history, ww1 & 2, ancient history, etc… I just finished French Revolution and man… wow that was very bloody but I’m thankful I was allowed to adquire this knowledge but I’ve been attracted to MIT since I was 16 so I’m goin to watch and hear all the classes over and over till I learn something. Thank you all for making this free for all
Oh my , a new lecture from MIT ... I feel lucky watching this ( being among the first 20 to comment ) i love learning and all of this material that is available online is great . However i still wonder about finding jobs with out a university certificate , i have lots of basic knowledge to work and im relativly a fast learner when it comes to technology . Recently my facination with Mind places keeps growing as well as (Learning how to learn ) so im feeling great overall yet a bit impatient sometimes with how long it takes to gain experience
What an absolutely cracking series this is going to be, I Iove opencourseware and if anything can explain how to make a robot see the world around it its this course :D
my daughter is in the hospital now and I have to go to the hospital and get her and she will be a little late but I can get her and she will be there at that time of day and I will be there in about the same time
@@imperfectmammal2566for the same reason i would complain about being given free but spoiled food. It can not really be used for the purpose it pretend to be given for. It might have been "top tier" for the audience on location, but for the audience of the video it is more bottom tier.
@@charismaticaazim My concern is about single words inbetween being unrecognisable. This happened in a frequency that large parts of the lecture, at least as far as I endured it, lost meaning. Without re-viewing , the only concrete memory I have is about a book being mentioned as covering more then what the course is about. The book title was "[something] vision". I replayed that part several times but was unable to understand the first part of the title. I rememberr this one, because it maximised my disappointment. There would have been a chance to read up about the lecture'S content, if at least that title would have been clearly recorded (or the author mentioned).
Thousands upon thousands of dollars to attend with life cropping debt and the same institution can't even publish these videos in order. On one hand, it's wonderful to see these things. Every course at MIT should be published like this for the betterment of mankind. On the other hand, it's an example of why the public doesn't like or trusts those running or working in higher education.
What's your problem? You and your bad attitude are not a mouthpiece for "the public." This content is amazing and they're sharing it for free, and all you can do is focus on finding any excuse to bitch about society. YOU are part of the problem, and I'd bet money you aren't even going to learn from these videos. How about you get your shit together and actually do something positive for "the public," instead of being an internet comment gremlin?

One of the best videos on Machine Vision. As our products are related to Machine Vision, we advise our employees to check this video at the beginning.

Amazing content. I thought this would be standard computer vision material but this is much different
I know right, this was much more insightful
State of the art machine vision course in interlaced video... Gotta love the irony!
Thanks machine vision , perceptual vision in computer science is interesting applied to weather .
Hi Sir, How much are you selling that bridge in brooklyn for? :D Also, thank you for the great lecture series.
Interesting subject. Maybe a good idea to have the name of the course in the title or thumbnail?
Ironic that the video quality is off.
Fun stuff!
Thank you MIT
Very bad sound

Oh I found it,sry to bother you my friend 😂
Is this Computer Vision or something else??
Someone could please tell me where I can find the reference book that he just mentioned?
it's "Robot Vision" by the lecturer, Berthold Horn. it's from 1986, and can be found on the Internet archive.
Nice

I guess no questions then :)
One of the US' most prestigious engineering schools, and you have still not learned how to do audio recording with a halfway acceptable quality.

Could you elaborate your concern ?
I can hear properly, though I have heard better, the audio is decent
