I love the music it was beautifully done. That said the original audio's timing and vocals don't quite sync well, The mixing also drowns them out but seeing as this is about the original musical score that is understandable

Originally I tried to harmonize them but it was difficult and I had no way to separate their vocals and it turned out to be gibberish.
Wait can it be called a cover if all you did was add a guitar riff to the background?
vocals are the only thing left from the original, I added my own guitars, drums, choirs and a lot of other details but yes, maybe it's better to treat it as a remix than a cover.
