There's really a difference when you breakdown the crossover with the footwork, well done coach.

Fun fact: Iverson used a skip step extended hesi (try to say that 3x fast) as his primary move and the crossover (which he learned from Georgetown walk on Dean Berry) as a counter to that hesi

Before I watched this video, I only used to sell the drive. It was somewhat effective but I was missing this skip step. That was a major key for me. I used to wonder how iverson had perfect balance with his move and there it is. Thanks coach

What’s the official rule on having your hand overtop of the ball? There’s guys out there who could just hold it like that and do a move without dribbling so I imagine there is a limit of time you can hover the ball with your hand? I’ve been called for a travel (in pickup) for a move similar to this and watched a few videos claiming guys like Isaiah Thomas who lean on this move essentially travel every time they hesi or crossover.

Hi coach, I got a question. Say I cross the ball from right to left, I always find my right leg not explosive and doesn't follow the ball smoothly. I suppose my right foot (the foot that is jabbing at the direction of the fake) should be my pivot and push off foot after the cross, right?
