It's so good you didn't use it for any of your talking head, b-roll or your other angles at the beginning of your video😂 - the quality drop when you switch to mevo is jaw dropping.

Yeah none of these "reviewers" actually like to show any comparison footage with real cameras. I actually have a couple of mevos and use them as a couple of locked off wide shots at live events but they are not great

I have a car youtube channel. I’ve been looking for a way to live stream when doing my tests. So I would use the mevo combo to set 3 different angles on my tests to be more engaged with my audience. Keep up the great work.
I would use this for filming videos for wood working and also for RPG streams with remote people. The ability to view different angles would be a game changer

This is the a great product. To be able to set up a multi-camera podcast relatively quickly and do reaction videos all without a computer is unbelievable. This along with my audio interface that I have setup for my microphone that connects directly to my iPhone would make this the easiest and most portable setup for beginners of all time. Doing everything from your iPad or iPhone is the future. Pick me

Seems like a great solution for content creators. I’d use one camera for overhead shot and the others for the speaker with different angles.

Would be perfect for our small church that non-techy people can also create content. I wonder only how reliable the connection would be wirelessly, but still it might be good enough for spontaneous recordigs / streams. Auto direct would be the best feature for sure.🎉

Great solution for Podcasts and tutorials. Would use one overhead and the two others for the speaker at different angles.
I would be able to record my drum covers with a Multicam setup and wireless! It would be perfect for this!
I’ve been using the Mevo Multicam setup for a year now. I have several issues with it. I do not use these to livestream. I use them to record only.
1. 1080p is the highest resolution
2. Portrait orientation is not supported.
3. You cannot output video to a television as it is recording.
4. Cameras reset intermittently when there is a firmware update pending, and firmware updates are frequent.
I could elaborate as to why these issues could prove to be deal breakers for many users, but I won’t. I have four of these cameras, and I am considering going a different direction even after spending this money.
I'm just starting out creating woodworking and user experience design videos to capture my learning experience and to teach my professional techniques.
That was a really nice review for a really nice product. I would think about starting a RUclips channel if I won those cameras.

I love everything about it EXCEPT that 1080p is outdated and the footage shows it. If this was 4k it would be an instant sale. Not just for clarity but also the ability to scale frames.l
I’m a Star Trek podcaster & we have discussed streaming an RPG play through. I could see this coming in very handy especially if the GM wanted to show us some thing from the physical rulebook. He wouldn’t have to hold it up and try to get the camera to focus on it. I am actually super excited about this, because for as nice as my Apple monitor is…the camera sucks!

I would use the mevo three pack for multiple things.
I have a music podcast, own a event and ticketing website, as well for online virtual events and meetings.
I also attend live in person events and would use them to create content for youtube and other social media.
Such as side by side events, rock climbing, camping, anything outdoors really.
So if I won the mevo start three pack I would immediately put them to use in many different fashions.

I would use them for my class (k-12) to do a video podcast to include guests, so multiple angles would be great. In addition, the setup time is an advantage, with no wires! Going wireless will make deploying it in a school situation much faster, with no cords for children to trip over. 6-hour battery life! Come on that is a whole school day right there!
I could also use it to help in a house of worship set up to serve those who cannot make it on a weekly basis. Great product overall, thanks for the opportunity. 😀
Sadly 4k is nearly a standard now, so only supporting 1080p is like rolling backwards. I can have 3 Logitech Brios doing full 4k to OBS.

I'd use the cameras to show to do videos using picture in picture. Just need to figure out what to do with the third one? One overhead camera and one from the side?
Can you add in another camera (mirror less camera) to the stream?

Michael, I've been asked by an old friend to shoot and livestream their wedding on LoveCast, March 20, 2023.
And here's how I plan to do it.
First, I'll sign up for a 14 day trial of Mevo Pro.
Then I'll use the new Mevo Go App to convert my iphone 13 pro into a solo a/v source (w dual Movo lavs)
THEN I'll establish a test site for that Mevo Start 3-Pack your sending me- and transform this solid solo cam into an epic 4 camera shoot.
Finally, I'll use the latest Mevo Multicam App (1.43 or later) to turn my 9.7 inch iPad Pro into a tablet controller for my switching, adding any graphics/text/images or overlays needed to land the perfect streams for the friends that couldn't attend, as well as land them, three minutes after one of the best days of their life, a perfect online copy of the day's events. I want to produce perfect streams for the Ceremony & Reception and plan to do all that from a quiet comfy seat in the back row where the photographer won't even notice me.

Alot of time i would watch a podcast with multiple angles and wonder how bulky and expensive that setup would be if I decided to start one... this makes the process streamlined and too easy!!!
I thought this sounded great until I saw the image quality for the price. I thought that your main camera from the start of the video was the webcam but when you showed the actual quality, it was a letdown unfortunately. It's a great idea in concept but $1k for 3 of these is ludicrous and not worth the money. Easy to use, yes but you can save a fair bit of money by just buying some existing webcams and OBS
Great vid, what type of tablet do you use to run mevo app. I use Samsung A8 tablet for 3 mevo cams and it keeps shutting down...

Michael thanks for your perspective on this outstanding Mevo camera system. I've seen this on another content creators channel and I was sold then. I have a very small Podcast "Mornings with Pleas the Podcast" and this is going to be a terrific addition to my set up particularly when I have guest on my show I like how on other podcast / channels they switch shots from main camera to whichever person is talking at the time. I'm preparing to purchase or win this product, for one its cheaper than buying 3 of the same mirrorless cameras plus the lens 16mm sigma, 35mm and whatever else ( listen to talk like i know what I'm talking about, NOT!!). I don't have to necessarily buy the atem mini iso pro for switching cameras. That's about it if for nothing else thanks for the vid good stuff. Keep up the good work! Eddie

Does it say or did you test the range cameras can be spaced? Thinking it would make for a cool Moto vlog set up where one camera could be on the bike, and the others can be placed in the environment to catch footage of the bike passing.
ya this is interesting and you can buy it in 3s. I checked the link to see what focal length you get from the camera and it says 3.6mm? that's pretty wide!

I was looking for something to help me film multi cam live shows and performances… this might be it!
The eco system that they have created is well thought out. The cameras though don't have a strong dept of field have a great advantage for product demo, and/or outdoor event streaming. Adding a single higher end glass solution to the eco system could take it to the next level. The key is ease so others within our non-profit could operate the solution. Would use this solution to provide streaming of events to extend our reach to members and older audience members may not be able to make it because of physical limitations.

My only issue. Is the minimum focus is like 5 feet. I have one. Not impressed with that fact.

This is definitely a game-changer. As a person who considers himself a creator, starting something can be a little pricey. It seems that mevo has made the ability to create easier. I have a community podcast called "What it takes." Adding the video component is very important. This is a game changer.

I'd definitely use the Mevo for my daily video calls with my kids, since I work far away from them. That way, my kids would feel that it is as if we're in the same place, due to the multiple angles.
The whole concept is great. But in real life none of the software worked as intended on my ipad and Mac and the Logitech CS only gave lazy "did you try turning it off and on again" solutions and made no real efforts to offer solutions. Paying 1K to be a beta tester is NOT good. They should have made sure it all works as advertised before releasing it. I ended up sending my kit back. Really disappointing because the idea is great!

So I’m a Contant creator and a maker. Something like this would be perfect to allow me to get multiple angles, while putting projects together and doing builds. That’s always been the toughest part about trying to create maker style Contant there’s so many different angles to look at and trying to find a camera for each angle can get expensive. I definitely see this as an affordable way to accomplish that same task. I’m excited to learn more. And I’m double excited to hopefully get an email saying I want!😂

Sir a humble request, please provide correct reviews in the future as people can spend a lot of money only to realize they have purchased a crappy product, there are a couple of things that I do not agree with. For example, the quality of the inbuilt microphone is horrible. setup can be frequently a bit clunky. The setup often losses one camera or the other. And I do believe you are fully aware of it but have not informed the audience about it. Thumbs down.
rather use an atem mini with real cameras i think. the quality of the mevo cams are horrible
but they are terrible webcam quality cameras. so basically useless for high quality live streaming.

I would Start a live stream company for weddings and other events and also added on to my MrCEO_910 platform to help him better, business owners, or to become a better business owner
