I had the privilege of playing a few gigs with Todd Parrott; it was a great experience and real pleasure. One was on TV and one was at Mt Olive College. He was as wonderful at those gigs as he is here.
I'm actually starting online harmonica lessons with Todd being my teacher. I was watching videos of him playing when I stumbled across this. And when I listened to him play, it was like my third eye was opening. In my opinion, he's one of the most unique and best harmonica players out there today. I would descibe his playing style as a mix between the bluesiness of Terry McMillan (another country/gospel player whom he has stated to be his biggest influence on his RUclips channel) and the chromaticism of jazz harmonica player Toots Thielemans. Hearing him play makes me excited to start lessons with him. Thanks for sharing this video with us.
So I'm here to comment again to say my lessons with him are going amazing. Let me say that I couldn't have chosen a more talented, more articulate, and nicer person to be my teacher and we've developed a nice friendship as well. We've been studying and learning more about our biggest influence on the harp, Terry McMillan, and I've been improving and learning songs faster than what I would've on my own. Todd would go into very clear detail about what Terry's doing in a given song and it helps me a lot that somebody who's as passionate as I am about Terry is able to explain what he's doing this clearly. Thank you so much, Todd, for being an amazing teacher and a good friend.
I really apreciate his melodic style... When we starting to feel the beat on harp its natural to identify some guys for special reference. Absolutly Todd is my one of those.

One of my favorite players. Love his sound.
That's amazing and beautiful 😊
AWESOME!!
I was there to see it live, and hearing amazing grace on you tube is as moving as it was live.
