I remember that pease pudding rhyme from when I was a kid and I never knew what it meant, we just said it doing some game like patty cake or something. It's been forever since I heard it and now I know what it is!! I'm from the US and never went to the UK and all my family is from here as well so I have no idea where we learned that saying. We didn't have kids shows pulled over from there like they do now with Peppa Pig and Banana's in Pajamas. That was quite an interesting surprise. Thanks!

Well aye I’m from County Durham and my accent is sometimes 50/50 usually when I go back up or at a Sunderland match it goes 100% Northern but as I’ve been a Londoner for many years it’s slowly fading away
