***Note on Trigger(comment).......(This is FuriousFRZX). I witnessed Alex hands on the FIRST night Volume 7 dropped with this Boss Build!!!! I had no idea what I was doing yet, picked the R8(lol)... and there he was in the Boss 302. I wish I had Video so everybody could see how fast Alex Vanished into thin air in this car, lol. I was like "WHERE DID HE GO" Needless to say I immediately began grinding to unlock the Boss!!! Again this was like the night or second night Volume 7 dropped... in the Wee hours of the morning Alex was already hunting Meta, and found it. So yes he deserves the Credit. I managed to get a 12.21 on Duncan Bay Half Mile(S+), but this car is a Struggle off the line, being that its Highly dependant on getting a Perfect Launch, without you're Toast(controller issues to blame)****
I watched a Panthaa video on drag and someone left them on the line in the DeLorean. I was sure the BOSS was faster. Next day it walked away from 5 different DeLoreans. This car is busted good.
I gotta admit I'm shocked that Militia would bite and take credit for something not his, especially since he's been solid w NFS content, giving the builders credit for their builds. Truth is Truth, this Boss build came from the reigning King of NFS UNBOUND BUILDS, #AlexCornnut.

I seen MGC video and im like "no way he figured this out on his own espeacially bump shift technique" lol. But i could be wrong, all i know is you had a video about it like a day or 2 after vol. 7 dropped. Keep it up
I enjoy watching this channel - not just for the builds, but also the style and passion Alex has (42yo school teacher here BTW, for context!). I also like MGC. Both creators keep me entertained and enthused.
I believe both creators work hard and are genuine, but at the same time, I respect Alex for calling out what he sees as wrong doing. It's called having self-respect. MGC may be innocent, but that's not the point. Alex was still right to call him out. The most important thing imo is the nature in which Alex made clear his grievances - clear, concise, not derogatory nor personal.
My respect for Alex has gone up - I hope MGC addresses the issue so the community can move forward together.
I don't usually comment, but I've been a year long subscriber of Alex way before I even got the game myself because I always found his content informative and really helpful, and I must say, using Alex' builds and the little tips and tricks he teaches us has really helped me improve in this game a lot. Need For Speed Unbound isn't like other NFS games of racing games in general, and it's a nice change of pace from the otherwise senseless festival racing games we have now which look and feel like a copy/paste of every other festival racer out there (lookin' at you Forza), so going into Unbound, I was struggling quite a bit because although I've been playing racing games since I was in diapers, Unbound is still much more strategic and technical, and had it not been for Alex, I would still be struggling at it. This dude deserves more credit than what he gets and it's a shame when I see other channels like MilitiaGaming or Kingdom Twelve's videos taking off way more than Alex' even though they're literally copying his builds and rebranding them as his own, but much worse.

Regarding MGC, in the comments for his video he says that he doesn't watch other content creators and came to the same conclusions independently. While I agree that it's sus AF, it's possible. His video came way late and there's a ton of people driving the Boss online, so he could've tried the Boss based on that. After that, it's really not rocket science, indeed. It's not a cheese build, either, he could've figured the engine, offroad tires and the bump-shift techinque by himself. I've been watching the dude for a long time and while I personally don't use his setups for The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest, I can testify that they're pretty unique. Given his experience since NFS Heat at least (that's when I started watching him), I do find him smart enough to have come up with the Boss build and technique by himself. For now, it's statistically plausible that a few of his builds are very similar to other people's, given the amount of builds he makes.
I wish it was the first time this has happened. . . It's not.
I understand wanting to defend another creator you like. But in this case I cannot give the benefit of the doubt this time.
Also a majority of the builds he puts on his channel are pulled from people he races with or that submit to his website.
It's an unfortunate situation.
@@alexcornnut Sure, you can have your opinion, but you also can’t prove he did it, which is why stating definitively that he’s a thief is objectively wrong. Think about how difficult it would be to prove in court.
Like I said. If this was the first time. Id be willing to give benefit of the doubt.

So, I built the original versions with the off road suspension and tires but then started to get a feeling that tires and shocks did actually make a difference, like spinning out on courses with corners. Have you binned the idea of the off road tires and shocks now, or does that still stand for cars in lower classes to max out HP?

At least muscle cars are good for something now, exept for Chevy Z06 for old drift. 'Murica!!! Still waiting for daily class race playlist rotation, kinda sick of only drifting and drag racing - even if you select the race playlist PVP thing (the last one) still drift or drag, because you get automatically thrown into one....

My boss is similar set up or maybe the same as this (pretty sure I copied your other video on it) but I was racing this golf the other day and it was moving, might be worth looking into
Yeah the Golf and the Lotus Exige gets off the line better and will definitely give the Boss 302 a run for its money in 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile tracks. Those two cars also get into 3-bar boost faster because of the closer ratio gearboxes. The reason why the Boss 302 is "meta" for the full-length drags is because it's the easiest car (found so far) to do the "bump shift" technique. On full-length, the Golf will get out on you but with bump shifting you'll reel it in. If the Golf driver is good and blocks your lane, it wins. I still use the Boss 302 over my Golf build, but definitely worth looking into by Alex and the crew 🤙🏽.
On the lower classes if you put on off road suspension and tires it lowers the class so you can add more power, the off road parts dont matter in drag

Yo thanks for answering my question last stream about of this can run on RTX 3050
No idea what he answered, but you'll need to set everything to low to maintain 60 FPS@1080p. Before vol. 7 you could run a little higher.
@@hexagonalcarbonbro I play with a rtx 2050, every setting on medium and I get around 70 and 85 fps.

Like Alex said, foxbody. If you have it unlocked the Focus RS can do work. Drifts like a dream too.

@@ZillaDaKilla195 ohh it's good. I've lost to it before. Just because I can't find The Sweet spot that does not mean that he can't try to. It's a good car because I be beating people a lot in pubs and a really skilled driver can keep up with the pack as long as they draft behind people correctly and turn early to use the weight and get around the corner. People be so quick to move a car to the side and not actually get under the hood🤦 don't sleep on the charger man I'm telling you it's a good vehicle 👍 and you don't really need to change the engine in my opinion unless you are drag racing
@@Itz_Puxe Bro I have played the game.more than I would like to admit. The charger just isn't good. You can learn to drive it and compete, but it's not a good car.
Also, don't depend on Cornut to build a great off-meta car. You can likely build a car that suits you better than he can.
I watch the vids to see what engine he uses but oftentimes it's not the best for me. You have to go out and drive your own builds to see what works for you.

you mean the dodge charger R/T? That car is crap without a doubt. I have probably the best race build possible for the car and it still sucks. Sure, if you are a good racer you can beat pub lobby but that doesnt say much when you can do the same in Volvo Amazon which is arguably the worst car in the game. Beating pub lobby means nothing about quality of the car. What does the Charger R/T do well? ... it sucks well.
If you are interested in a race build anyway, here is what I got from my testing. I built the car in every class and with every engine. The problem with this car is that it has too little power for its weight. I found out that it performs the best in A+ with the 7.2l V8 engine. Also I built it to drift as the car is terrible at gripping and wants to slide out in corners constantly + you can put in more power if you drift. Here is the build:
7.2l V8: pro, basic, super, super, elite roots, sport, elite road, basic, elite drift, basic, sport 5 speed, elite, grip, drift, 80% drift, +4 downforce

I would advise you build the mustang. Set a time on a few tracks and then compare results with your S+

Audi R8 is what I use for both drag and race in S+... so I'll stick with that is this stang don't work
This Boss is the fastest Drag car in S+ that we know of so far. It'll walk your R8 in every drag race my man.
@@alexcornnut maybe so... I'll have a look when I get on next.. reason why I'm saying r8 works is due to it hitting 380km before the race is over

@@DemonKingDrak I easily walk 2 R8's in this. It's verging on broken. I've not faced a Bugati yet, which I think might take it as it can hold the higher top speed, but off the line this car is silly fast.
