I went to my parents after the last blizzard because i did not think they would be able to dig their way out with 80+ but i was wrong. On the way back i met some snowdrift on the road, sometimes 50 to 60 cm deep (2 feet) but only some meters long, with 80kmh speed the snow went up at least 3m and splashed like a wave over the windscreen. No traffic in the night and no ice under the snow. Was a lot of fun.
im drivng a bmw at the moment but not with xdrive if i want a quattro i will buy a audi again but not with to many hp because the gearbox by audi ist very shit....my gearbox in my rs3 8v was broken after 25.000km :D audi is to stupid to build a good gearbox

This looks impressive but it is a very soft, fresh, light snow. In this kind of snow your wheels will be on the ground constantly so it's just a matter of pushing some of that light snow out of your way. There is no way he would do that in thick wet snow.

Same thing I did with my Fiat Tempra 4x4 from in 1993... its no big deal on soft snow with new winter tire and intergrale/quattro/AWD drive... but looks incredibly good...
This type of snow is generally not a problem, but if you try to do something like this in compacted or wet snow you will get stuck immediately....I tried it in an Audi A6 quattro (of course with new winter tires) :)
