Bro I have made this theory by mix matching anime and games
So according to the theory the girl is none other then the maiden which appeared in kanto region start (in the anime) she was waiting for someone . So I think she lost patience waiting for that person so she left in search of him and you know that the person for whom she was waiting went for a war and as I know war reference is given in hoenn region in lucario and the mystery of the mew and in kalos which is known as kalos war.
