I drove for about 10 years then worked for FEMA as an electrician, lived there in Ogden, anyway took a buy out and getting back in a truck for the next 10 or 15 years and in training new drivers. Can’t believe there’s no snow, got my student with me she’s worried about cabbage, watched your video and it seemed to help her a lot. Good stuff thanks for the time in making them. Really helpful for new drivers. I think I’ll make them required watching. Thanks again.

Just came down cabbage hill friday on my way to the Tricities from Boise, Truck was pulled over with smoke pouring out of his brakes. Stunk all the way to wildhorse.
The exit up parleys has a big painted rock off to the right in the gully called suicide.. it has a creek running thru the center of the rock, When I was a kid we used to dam up the creek with plywood then pull the plywood and ride the water down thru the center of the big rock... My old stomping grounds growing up.

Thank you so much for this video! I'll be taking 80 East this summer for my first time in an RV. I wanted to get an idea of what the mountain passes are like. I know it'll be summer but I might just take that 84 route if it's a little safer/easier. Liked and subbed.

Great video! Beautiful countryside. I've been to Utah once, on my way to wyoming. I'm getting my CDL soon, so I'm looking forward to seeing all of these places. 👍🤗

That right lane is exit-only onto I215 south “belt route”. Hard to tell from the video but he’s already pulling a grade before he even starts the video. If he stays in the right lane there’s little chance someone lets him in to make the interchange - source I live there on the right before he goes into the canyon

@@mikederucki that whole interchange is about 2 miles long.
