imagine being in cortex’s situation.
You were trapped on an asteroid for 22 years before being freed. However, the price for that freedom is sacrificing an ally and leaving him there.
You are then thwarted by an old enemy, backstabbed by a current ally and then team up with your old enemy before once again backstabbing that enemy. (Jesus, this is confusing)
You are thwarted again even when all the odds stack against your foe.
Your hostages (the 4 quantum masks)are set free and banish you to ‘the end of the universe’
Its empty. Not a sound. You’re trapped in a sandy abyss with no way out. You’re trapped. Forever. You’re alone there. Forever.
And then, you hear an ominous laugh. You thought you were alone but clearly aren’t. The laugh echoes around you, you have no idea where its coming from.
Then, out of nowhere, two yellow eyes appear in the dark before the figure steps forward and is revealed to be no other than the ally you stranded on a meteor all that time ago. And you’re stuck there with him. Forever. And even worse, you have no gadgets to help you, no way to escape, nowhere to hide or run. Uka uka, the very mask you betrayed is in control now.
Just imagine what uka uka could do to get revenge on cortex. That ending was fkn dark.
@Gooby I was kind of expecting Uka to drag the Tropys there too in front of Cortex and then continue laughing. But yeah, sucks to be Cortex at that moment. Tropy got it easy...
I think Uka Uka would brainwash Cortex in Crash 5.
To be fair. Cortex wanted to be left alone.
And it would be funny if uka uka was only by himself for only 30 seconds since it was a bunch of dimension jumping. Regardless I see uka being the main antagonist on crash 5

Crash caused his own stupidity..... that’s so strange that it’s kind of impressive in a way.... and now Crash can talk in full sentences.... He’s getting smarter!
I think he won't talk again in the next game and it was just a joke (good one considering that he had never said more than one word in any crash game ever existed)

3:17 Can we appreciate how Ngine's saxophone mouthpiece is turned upside down? This is because normally the teeth are supported on the upper part and the lower lips pressing the reed, but Ngine's protruding jaw would make it impossible to make a good sound.
As someone who played a bit of the sax in middle school, I really appreciate that detail.

I agree because I never heard of Crash Bandicoot till skylanders and when I heard his voice in Skylanders academy it felt like it was out of character. But this just feels more natural

Well, if you're that interested, 100% all the flashback tapes to get outfits that reflect what Cortex had in mind for Crash and Coco when he created them!
General Crash is technically Crunch. Cortex was aiming to create a bandicoot with super enhanced strength and skill (said in WoC). To Cortex, Crunch is Crash made correctly and was what he was aiming for all along pretty much.
@ravenflightthefattie agreed. Crunch made a cameo in some of the monitors in the Flashback Tape Levels. Tying the whole idea of Crunch the original vision of General Crash into a nice knot.

Twinsanity is my favourite. Like i complete this game maybe 10 times? And of course 100% like 3 times. I was speedruning this game, finding glitches etc. And i still want more

@PJman586 Eggipus Rex is the only reused environment and even then, it still does new stuff with that concept.
@PJman586 I agree with all of these, I'd also add that the N'gin wasteland levels are the same theme as what was seen in "Megamix Mania" in CTR but that is probably because it was inspired by Crash 4, not vice versa.
I just wish the game had given more time to celebrate the "Non-Naughty Dog" era of Crash games (other than taking some insperation from those games and a few background references), which this 100% cutscene did.

It's a possible. Keith Webb, a developer of Twinsanity, sent a letter to Activision to do the game again with Webb's former team.
It's been 2 years, we've yet to see a reply, but it's possible they're already working on it.

I feel like if there’s another instalment to this franchise, it’ll be more of a “tying up loose ends” story with more focus on Cortex and Uka Uka than anything else
What would really be dark is if Uka Uka possessed Cortex but eventually Cortex managed to resist him and achieved redemption (but does so permanently this time)
Maybe that’s just my inner cortex fanboy speaking but I’d love to see that happen, dark as it may be

Siento que este juego despues de ver lo de uka uka es una precuela de crash 1 y de crash WoC (puedo equivocarme) pero siento q es algo bastante lógico, y si no lo es espero poder ver mas personajes en el crash 5 (crunch por ejemplo) por otro lado, los tropys seguramente habrán entrado en alguna linea temporal continuando la historia de WoC (por tirar un ejemplo en la linea de mind over mutans) y de ahi sacar un nuevo juego, es una teoria q puede ser bastante acertada... pero ya veremos
ENGLISH: I feel that this game after seeing the uka uka is a prequel to crash 1 and crash WoC (I can be wrong) but I feel that it is something quite logical, and if it is not I hope to see more characters in crash 5 (crunch for example) on the other hand, the tropys will surely have entered a timeline continuing the story of WoC (to throw an example in the line of mind over mutans) and from there get a new game, it is a theory that can be quite successful. .. but we'll see

That secret epilogue was Toys For Bob's last chance to have Tiny in the game and they botched it. It's a major disappointment that gives little to no reason why I should acknowledge the company's name or care for the franchise's future.

@@darkshat3077 its crash's fault because he accidentally pulls out the matrix piece that was being used to calibrate his mind. when the piece was pulled out the machine failed and made him stupid.
@Gooby except it was never explicitly stated that the reason why the vortex failed on Crash was because of the machine not being fully ready. the brain damage was a probability due to that, but not guaranteed to fail every single time, which made said effects unpredictable. so its not retconned that the vortex can still do that, as evidence that Roo is still around. they simply added depth to show why the vortex was guaranteed to fail specifically with Crash.
