Glad you showed Salimova's games, her match was INTENSE
From 8:58 observe Agads expressions... He's so passionate for his work... His psychology speaks for itself ❤ That's why I'm his regular viewer
Thank you. I don't usually look at anything but the board - Agad's tone speaks for itself. But it's nice to see Agad's love of the game.
Salimova's bishop work when attacking is impeccable!
Agadmator: You you can rewind 30 seconds
Viewers: Keep on watching him trying to find his saved file
it's the simple things that keep us happy lol
I just enjoyed some widow shopping trying to figure out what the hell is going on in the background
yea, fast forward was tbe pbrase he needs to learn.
I've lost nearly a day, following Agadmator's instruction. I keep rewinding but nothing changes.... Actually, it's a clever way of putting us in a time loop, ensuring many views, I suppose 🤔. Damn you Agadmator - evil genius that you are!
Meanwhile he could just edit that time out of his youtube file.
This is by far the best chess channel out there - great choice of games every time, clear and instructive analysis, passion and respect for the game of kings, and today even a rare but somehow entertaining glitch.
Love the vid - also 8:45 I love how endearing aged is when he says things like "give me one second", like its a conversation he's having with a friend rather than a video he can edit lo. Love you mate, keep up the good work
Yes, that was a very wholesome and satisying moment and Agadmator has discovered the secret to preserving your sanity as a content creator: if you don't have to edit, don't.
8:32 I love how Agad always gives you the Director's Cut. Continuous commentary with no cuts or edits.
Aaah I am so happy you showed Salimova's game!! She is an absolute beast, the way she decided on a brilliant move with ten seconds on the game...
If she is so good, why doesn't she play in the open chess games and win the tournaments?
she did play in open section of 2023 bulgarian chess championship open section and won silver medal ahead of six GMs and lost only to the champion. I guess here she is not in open section probably because she didn't qualify for it so she is taking whatever opportunities she gets, but she does play in open tournaments and performs pretty good.@@PreservationEnthusiast
@@PreservationEnthusiast I think because she is still 2400 (or smt like that?) And only yet an international master.
And to add a little personal attack: a rating you probably will never reach asking stupid questions like this.
@@thomasp12384 It's not a stupid question. She's an IM. She can play in the open events. It's a deeper question than you've realised.
@@PreservationEnthusiast Hmm I guess you're right. I retract my statement and apologies.
But to give some explanation to my comment: on first sight your comment did appear a bit snapy about Salimova. And following the games live on youtube I saw so many people being so disrespectfull to woman in chess that I interpreted it in a wrong way.
As a Bulgarian I am very happy to see Nurgyul Salimova's strong performance in the FIDE's Women's World Cup (2023) and also her getting the spot light she deserves on her games! Also a great pleasure to see a Bulgarian IM's games being presented on this great chess channel! Good luck to her on the finals and thank you for playing incredible chess!
You are both right, she is both: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nurgyul_Salimova
@@dusseldo6257yes and as Hikaru's name suggests he is Japanese. And as Caruana's name suggests he is Italian. And as So's name suggests he is philippino. Should I keep going? :D
@@lyubomirkaradzhov6134even though there are some similarities between those players and Nurgül, from historical point of view the situation is different. However it is also worth to mention that she is succesful neither because of she is Turkish nor Bulgarian, she is succesful because of her hard work and the high quality education that she got…
@@locustedfox please elaborate why is it different. Born in Bulgaria to Turkish parents. Hikaru born in US to Japanese parents
@@lyubomirkaradzhov6134 Hikaru was raised in the US because of his parents moved there. It is the case for Caruana as well. Nurgül born in a country in which a lot of turkish people used to live because it was a turkish territory. Most of them migrated back to Turkey in the 80s, but some of them chose to stay or missed the chance to migrate. So this was the more or less the difference from the historical point of view that I meant
Absolutely loved how Nurgyul's bishops are so deadly in these games! Thank you Agad for showing this!
Thank you so much for this tribute to Salimova. I have watched all of her games in the tournament and really fell in love with her style of play. I hope she does well in the finals, too, but she has already won: what a woman!
Yay! I actually saw the two "crushing moves" at 15:00 (basically barbarian crashing down the door), but that's only because Agadmator says there is something to look for in the position. 😆
Moreover the position was on the thumnail
I watched both games on radom , My day was going along, I was bored and checked twitch for some chess streams. I watched her doing those games low on time and the way she thought about those brilliant ideas! I fell in love with Nurgyul the moment I saw those two games!
After watching this video, I did too.
Salimova's games are flawless. She totally crushed a seasoned grandmaster. What a superb rising talent she is proving to be.
Thank you so much for this video! 🇧🇬
That is a master class in the queens gambit. I'm taking notes about that bishop and rook work!
Amazing! Really brilliant play from Salimova. We don't see many games this exciting at the highest level
same here.. Not even a GM, IM, FM or anything but crushing hard on her
Salimova check-mating left and right like there's no tomorrow!
To be honest she is kinda sus for me, because in her post interviews wich i watched several. she couldnt name a single line that she calculated.
@@hansgie673here we go again, it’s only a matter of time before they start call her a cheater if she wins the finals. They’ll also club with that post match interview where she said something like, “I didn’t calculate but played it out of intuition”.
❤ for agad to keep me updated on the tournaments and chess world.
Audacious play. A worthy finalist.
Second game was brutal wow!
Now this is some wildly creative chess. Bravo Nurgyul.
Happy Friday Agadmites!!!
😊❤
Alligator 🤔
I see what you done there
🎉
TGIF🌞😅
Would love to see the final game with Salimova. Thanks :)
8:42 Alright, there we have ... Nope!". Lol, I just found that funny.
what a talent
Excellent commentary to excellent play. I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Wow. Salimova was just crushing with these immense games. Tal would be proud.
Some of the best maneuvering of bishops we have seen in mens or womens games.
Gospodjica Salimova je odlicno odigrala, svaka cast!
I was looking for this game finally
You are the best.
for anyone wondering why she didnt calculate far enough out to see that the rook was poisoned, they were both down to a few seconds on the clock
Wow! The first game was insane. Salimova played absolutely amazing! Sacrificing the rook with the intention to move the king with a tempo to protect the bishop and use it in a mating attack. That's just insanely creative! She is really good!
9:17 I've been watching agad searching the image for the past 1 hour
Very impressive tactics
It´s nice to see some other game styles. Thanks for the video.
incredible attacking games. wonderful to watch
#suggestion can we get the women's final covered, too? Would love to see more from Salimova
This was Salimova’s night at the opera!
3:42 You don't want to see Knight to c4, so Knight to d2.
Next move... 4:14 Now knight to b3.
🙄🙄
Lmao
Nurgul seems to follow Fischer! I think I will watch Nurgul instead of Magnus tomorrow!
Thank you!!!🎉
Very nice and simple.
Antonio, how did your English get so good?
Oh my god what a finish
“We combine two useless ideas and make a usefull one” 😂
Very interesting is she work with Nijat Abasov who is doing a great job as well
THESE can be called incredible!. Thank you!
Appreciate well clothed people playing awesome chess.
agad please cover more beautiful games from womens world cup
use the suggestion tag

Wowzers! Now that's a Cinderella story if I ever heard one! These 2 games are works of art. Way to go, Nurgyul!
Yes! Magnificent chess! Fantastic use of the two bishops in both these won games. Can she be invited for the challengers group of the Tata Steel wijk aan zee in january 24?
She's a 2400. She will be crushed.
Really enjoyed both games, Salimova played very well, 👍👍
Awesome content! It'll be fun to watch her progress!
Both of them played good stuff.❤
Thank You So Much For Covering This!! ❤🙏🏽🔥🪷
It’s interesting to see there is no Magnus in thumbnail while the other guy has thumbnails ready for next one year with Magnus in them😁
Really remarkable, a whole rook sacrifice allowing check too: the harmonic black pieces coordination allowed this elegant, sharp combination!
In the second game the soul of Paul Morphy was inspiring her!😊
I'm constantly impressed by Salimova's chess gameplay.
I am Bulgarian and i am very proud and please watching these games! I will ignore the Turkish discussion below. Selimova is a Bulgaria citizen and playing for Bulgaria. And nowadays discussing the Turkish rule is just silly anyway. In our country where the media is overtook by Influencers, reality show stars and no-talent podcasters it is so great that a young talent like her finally receives media attention.
in Bulgaria, are there many moslims?
Thank you!
I almost NEVER find the "Pause the Video" solutions, but this time I was determined.
I'm only a 1500 - 1600 player, so when I spotted the rook capture and then the bishop move, I wasn't sure.
A few checks of everything else and I realized I had it.
This was SO satisfying.
wow what a brilliant attack by Salimova
Okay! Crush updated,thanks agad.
Superb games thanks agad 👍
#Suggestion : Rey Enigma VS Garry Kasparov, a year after Karpov, but you didn't cover that game. Would you do the honors?
What about capturing the B5 bishop? Does that not stop the check mate? But I guess too much material down.
I am so glad about the title of the video. Its so amazing how chess is absolutely in the moment and cannot always rely on history.
That tower sacrifice is amazing. It's not difficult to calculate the combination, but it's extremely difficult to even consider it, it needs a lot of discipline and creativity. Side note she is just 20 years old. Moving above 2600 requires a change of style towards the more boring, it happened to Kasparov, to Magnus to everybody, except some magical figure from some city. But it's well within her reach.
show more of Salimova's games!!
Did Salimova spend the night at the opera after this game?
Incredible games. Realy entertaining to watch
10:13 Based Agadmator 💀
I like her style!
10:18 “if Morphy played Anderssen on a bad day” had lol’in. Sounds like a backhanded compliment but is actually a true compliment 😂
"Anna Musychuk" from Ukraine. But what about "Nurgyul Salimova"??She seemed to be from Nowhere?
1:09
Hey Agad... laser Stockfish vs. Magnus blew my mind. Stockfish sacs rook. I think it is latest I need to review.
More salimova games please
Wow fantastic Checkmate in second game as well Salimova such a Brilliant player
Brutal second game. Ouch!
Beautiful games by Salimova! I hope we get to see a lot more of her in the future! BTW, the FIDE commentator compared Salimova to Judit Polgar. We might have a new woman #1 in the making here! Thanks for the recaps!
#suggestion Show some game of Antoaneta Stefanova when Women Championship overs
That was awesome!
Holy shit these games made my jaw drop
Extremely awesome game from Nurgyul, well done girl, keep crashing limits, u are the
Good job, girl :) Greets from Bulgaria!
13:50 I was able to spot this sequence. What a beautiful game!
Incredible games
Great games to show...Salimova masterful
Yo a Musashi quote that’s so fire I just started reading Vagabond
Incredible game, beautiful Art❤♾👑
I love the new format but have been missing the "sorry about that" so this video makes up for it
Could she not survive with b5 and have any hope? or sacrificing the queen just too much?
Wow wow wow. What a game! (2nd game). Man I love her style! She's awesome!
Salimova's performance has been fantastic throughout the tournament. I'd really like to know her overall performance rating once the cup ends.
Mila Balgarya! Amazing play by Salimova 👌
Nice game indeed. Well done
Agadmator, Friday night double header game views would be a great routine to start. (Also, I miss the hoodguy games) 😅
that second game was crazy!
