Hey Guys Great vid, I have a 2013 camaro V6 6 speed manual LS, and wanted to know is it possible to retro fit a 2010-2012 camaro guage cluster since i actually enjoy the old styling needles, ive also noticed that the "extra areas" on the higher trim models came available for you, is this possbile to do going backwards? with the older style guages? for example, should i look for a older style guage cluster but have it programmed with RS or 1le extra info like you have here? is that even possible? so many questions lol, if you have a number id like to have a call with ya
I would love to put an older guage cluster in my 2015 (don't like the guages in the new ones; plus I only need speed, tire pressure, and oil life, the rest I don't need). What steps did you do to get this to work? Was it just "plug-n-play", or was it more involved? Also I've read that they need to be flashed with your VIN to work. Possible to do on your own, or dealer only?!? Also heard that if you drive without flashing to your VIN, they lockup and are bricked if you drive "X" amount of miles. And lastly, by doing this, I've heard it voids warranty. Any truth to this or anything I've heard above?

No, we found out GM moved the nods, so the info does not get to the right parts, if you line the look of the 12 gauges better you can simply change out the needles and inside gauge there removable.
2010-2015 are exactly the same shape and size. The only change is software and design. Once you reprogram them, it's simply a matter of swapping one for the other. I haven't figured out if it's getting all its data from the PCM or if it has it's own and just updates from the PCM.
I would love this in my 2012 2SS and any additional HUD options.
We are working on adding things to the HUD.
need to get a 2014-15 1LE color cluster and color HUD into my '12 2SS.
I love the color screen ones!! But pricey!! Gen5DIY I think sells em! I might go that route if doing a swap is too difficult..

Go to gen5diy man, they have tons of upgrades. I have the HUD. Reverse camera etc.

We did all the tests, but with out rewriting the softwear that makes this work it will not work on older cars.
