They've seen so many snakes and other animals on this journey that they hardly even notice other creatures anymore. They've even learned to ignore loudly barking, fence-charging dogs, thank goodness!

In about a month you will be swinging south of Lake Michigan. That is a pinch point. Lots of fast cars. We have a religious woman with an old rancher. In the old days they had a ranch near Van Horn in far west Texas. She was saying Friday that when we cross the Pearly Gates, the angels that we see that are the most frazzled are the ones that were looking after us. I figure mine are already wore down to a nub.
