This is the most beautiful, old historic seaplane, and so detailed, that I've probably ever seen. And an impressive 12 motors, at that. Delete the knowledge that you know, that it's a model, and re-look at those slow, high fly-bys. For all good intensive purposes, that was a real seaplane, and you're in the past☺️.
I can close my eyes and listen to the engines with a picture of this bird in full size flying overhead. It flies beautifully, and the engines sounds are so realistic. I love this gentle giant...! Thank You so much for sharing it with us...!
This is modelled on the 12 x V12 Curtiss conqueror engines, an upgrade from the original 12 x 9-cyl radial Bristol jupiter engines. That was 144cylinders, a total of 7320 horsepower, on a plane with a 48m wingspan carrying 100 passengers. Imagine seeing that in 1929! As far as I know that's the most engines of any plane. A beautiful model, perhaps the only one with enough engines to require a written starting sequence LOL. And it's ovbiously working, because they started perfectly!
I love boats and airplanes, the engines bolted on the wings is so cool, that's when mechanical objects were cool to see in action, even the control surfaces were visible, always loved this particular plane
Fantastic! The sound of 12 four strokes is wo derful to hear even on video. If it had been electric powered it would still be beautiful, but 4 strokes? Terrific. Love the retracts as well ,so it can be flown like this from a hard ramp. The start up deserves an award alone! Talk about efficiency! Ive a hard job starting just the ONE old HB VT25 in my ancient attila! Great work guys.
This is an absolutely beautiful model of the Dornier DOX. It must have taken a while to put it together, and cost a lot of money. A very fine job you did!! A true show-stopper.
With 12 engines, one fails, you don't even notice it. The DOX never flew high enough to leave a contrail. Greta the Grinch, HOW DARE YOU! Beautiful model. Love the sound. Most I've done was three and four engines.
Man, this is wrong! Impossible! Must be CGI! How in the world can you start 12 engines with just a quick flick of the starter? All started and all tuned!! Power, no problem and it looks great! Have you flown it off of water? Love to see that! Great job SJ
The rear engine on the starboard end pot had given up during the flight.....I noted when he taxied in after the landing.....but 11 out of 12 is still a massive acievement. Brilliantly done .......all of it ❤️
@@offgridderbulgaria4416 Engine one (by the start sequence) gave up @ ~ 6:52, this thing has more than enough power with 11 engines. I noted it windmilling several times afterwards. But what outstanding workmanship and videography as well!
That is Glorious! I couldn't imagine a prettier or more Interesting build. It capture's a by gone time when we had the audacity to do something like that. Ways Cool!
Hi good morning,,, greetings for the people who made posible this video, Great job in this multi engines,,, aircraft,,, congrautlations and happy day,,, your friend Oscar de Playa del Carmen Q R México,,,
Yes, I also would like to see this beauty fly from water. I know the Do X wasnt an amphibian, but the addition of retracts makes it able to do shows like this on land.A river take off would be amazing.
Prior to starting a build like this one has to be sure of the engines one is going to use. Things have certainly have moved on since I watched a friend trying to start the one engine on his newly- built back in the early 1970's! Excellent and a little bonkers at the same time.
When I saw it, I assumed the engines were electric.. yawn. Then you started them up. Most impressive. 11/12 running at the end of the flight.. impressive.

How many people are still alive today who might have seen the original? I am delighted to see this scale model in flight.
Gratulation: Ein Ordentliches Fluggerät.
Amazing!
I'm normally not in to RCs. But I cannot but admire this peace of engineering. 👍
Fantastic model!

VERY impressed by the engine startup - 12 engines all starting at first touch of the starter - unheard of!
Most impressive. Best sounding rc plane I've seen.(or heard on utube) Realistic flight characteristics.
The jets sound real, just a different era.
Not that much similar to the original! 😂 Bet its going even faster... Nice work!
Great travel back into the past history of aviation. Remarkable rendition of an amazing aircraft.
Incredible.......
Wow! I mean WOW!!!! 😳😍
It looks and flys realistic enough to use in a movie.
Brings a big smile to this face.
All the engines are fuel powered. Now that's dedication in this day of electric power.
I'm puzzled. Is this thing a machine or a work of art? Ya' know what? I'm gonna go with both. Well done, sir.
It actually sounds like an aircraft flying too! The engines, the air as it cuts through, it sounds like a real plane.
4 stroke engines is why.
Whilst noisy, the real behemoth must have been a sight to see. I would have loved to see this model land on the water.
One of very few RC scales that also sounds awesome!
Beautiful footage of a lovely model.
This model flies better than the real one
Can it land on water aswell???This is such an impressive model ,absolutely gorgeous
meine kann´s studio.ruclips.net/user/videoFE-lkghcO_M/edit
it can. once.
@@gekkehansie 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just outstanding. In the air it looks like the real one. And the pilot on the RC is a real pro. Congrats to the builder and the pilot.

Fantasic plane. Looks very sturdily built. Congratulations to the builders and the pilot. Would love to see it take off and land in water.
Wonderful....One of my favorites for about 65 years....
This truly is a MASTERPIECE, and it flies as good as it looks!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
P.S. the video quality is superb too!
Many thanks for your nice feedback, i appreciate it very much 👋😎
I suspect it flies quite a bit better than the full-size original.
Amazing, my respects to the builders and flyers
Simply wow! Great looking plane static and in the air. So fun to watch.
I love boats and airplanes, the engines bolted on the wings is so cool, that's when mechanical objects were cool to see in action, even the control surfaces were visible, always loved this particular plane
You've got both in one place here 😃
What an amazing plane!!! It flew quite nicely too... Flying overhead, it looked real !!!
Okay, what a beast! The thing rumbles on slow passes. Very impressive that only one engine died during the flight.
Juste magnifique de A à Z pilotage
Compris sûrement de longues années de pratique..... merci pour cette video
Et ce bel avion
Absolutely fabulous. Wonderful model.
Wow, stunning !!!👌👍
There are no words to describe the pucker factor of flying something that large, beautiful and expensive!
The way it's flown shows the love for this plane. Beautiful, thx.

It's like the Titanic of the air
Well, lets hope not!!!!
Well it may have had hail stones to contend with, but icebergs ?????

Very, very impressive... 👍
What a fantastic model and those engines are amazing.
My goodness ... what a piece of art !!
Fantastic. What a spectacular build. I really like the way it flies too. Very period.
It even sounds awesome!

Шикарно! Молодцы👍👍👍!
This model plan I would enjoy building for sure, because it is so different than most planes that are being built and flown today.
That is Glorious!
I couldn't imagine a prettier or more Interesting build.

Was für ein tolles Modell ! Gratulation !
The sound of the plane is so fun to hear.
Wow! Well done. Sounds is amazing. Looks beautiful flying.
Hi good morning,,, greetings for the people who made posible this video,

It's a beauty, and the sound , Well done.
He is amazing because he talks on best creative fact
I think the lady is isle 2D spilt her coffee.....Well done...great machine
What’s amazing to me, besides the magnificence of this bird, is how quickly he got all those engines humming.
Must be some kind of black magic! 😏
That's quite a machine and it flies really well.
This is probably the best RC model I've seen. Nice Job.
12 four stroke engines is insane!!
Absolutely fantastic workmanship, I'm blown away but this model. Congrats.
Simply an engineering marvel. What a representation of the real plane. Fantastic craftsmanship displayed in this video.
Many thanks 😎👍
awsome the craftsman ship is great.larry USA
Magnificent!!
Just WOW !! Well done.
Beautiful plane, nice work, awesome flying.
What a beautiful work of art and function. Great job. Also the video was great. Great color and sound. Great job all the way around.
What a machine. Gorgeous.
Usually, I'm not a fan of RC models with combustion engines. But this one has to be that way.
Great recording as well.
Many thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it very much 💪🔥👍
Electric power would have totally spoiled this model. It needs the sound and those 4 strokes are perfect.
Absolutely 👍
Magnificent! Very cool, great achievement, would love to see it land on water, but that was a great landing. Thanks for the video.

I thought I was obsessed with details. Wow, Very impressed. Beautiful work.
Fantastic and well made model.
What a beautiful aircraft!
A masterpiece, just gorgeous.
Ridiculously well done Bravooo nice unit
Maravilloso! 👏🇪🇦
What a gem!
She’s a beaut!
amazing beauty ,hats off to the biulder & the pilot , great job looks so smooth & stable , love it two thumbs up .
Truly magnificent RC model!
Love seeing the trail of exhaust behind as it flies by
A view from a cockpit camera would have been great. Even one as if a passenger looking down would have been cool. Pilots damn good though.
Wow.it looks and sounds amazing
Beautiful work. I was glad to see she could manage to struggle home with only 11 engines ... LOL
Incredible!

wow... fantastic model.
Would love to see a video of this on water 😎😮
WOW!...just...WOW!
Nice scale model and so nice to see it flow scale!
Superb aircraft.
Veramente MERAVIGLIOSO!!! 👏👏👌👍
Meisterwerk
Not the sexiest model to grace the skies but very impressive. That motor start was magic.
This is such a gorgeous model.
Well done!
Awesome! Saw this in your recent "walk Through" video and hoped to see it fly one day. Phenomenal video and flying experience; thank YOU!
When I saw it, I assumed the engines were electric.. yawn. Then you started them up. Most impressive. 11/12 running at the end of the flight.. impressive.

Stunning aircraft. Would have been great to have a pond or lake next to the festival airfield.
