you can scoop it out and put in a pan to heat up too, maybe add a bit more milk, also you can put the jar in a pan of simmering water to heat up that way too.

Perfect! Except for using the microwave. Microwaves are not healthy.
You can just re-heat it in a small sauce pan too. You may need to add a bit more milk :)
