How do you get back to the starting point? I mean to the gondola lift? Do you need to ski all the way down, or there is a way to get the gondola to bring you back?

Most people ski down but I assume you can get the gondola back...

What time do you recommend to go to Borovets? Do you favor it over Bansko?

I personally like March skiing but I'm not sure what conditions are generally like in Borovets... it depends on the season...
