Nicholson has been a revelation since his appointment, he even shows humour, a quality that we have rarely seen from the board. He has transformed Celtic into an ascending club, hopefully the model will bring European success.

Even if there is, say 40million available to Rodgers to spend on player transfers without any outgoings... Is there players available in the market that fit our clear transfer buisness model in terms of age and resale value ect but who will be a notable improvement on the players we currently have in those positions, and can be purchased for 0-10\15 million, but most importantly... Who will play for us within our clear and strict wage structures??? If Rodgers is really eager to sign a player or a few players in this window who each cost upwards of 10million pounds and each want upwards of 30 thousand basic per week wages to sign for us...will he get the trust and backing?? Despite it breaking the clubs business models and potentially causing unrest within the playing squad and leaving the club wide open to having to having to offer current first team players new upgraded contracts..reducing their future profit values to the club due to the extra investment in them ect....I honestly can't see it. Even with the champions league each year guaranteed and the funds that it provides... Its just not a sustainable business model for a club playing in the Scottish premier league. As an outsider looking in I honestly don't know what all the fuss about Rodgers is !! Wasn't particularly great the first time he was down here then came back for the Leicester job and was utter useless . He'll probably do ok in that league tbh but the last time he was at Celtic he didn't really have any competition at all let's be honest . I've also learnt something today , Celtic fans are just a laughing stock after proudly posting vile videos singing songs about wanting him to die in his sleep ( before anyone starts it factually happend ) I didnt see many condoning it either he is now again the Messiah on his 2nd coming . Not arsed who wins that tinpot league but the other half of Glasgow are a lot stronger than they were last time Rodgers was in Scotland . For many outside Scotland he's in a no win situation, if he wins the league so what so he should do having more money and better resources than the rest of the league and if he doesnt win it then well he's finished. Give him another 18months and something will turn his head , something to inflate that ego of his and he'll be off again , u can tell me I'm wrong but I won't believe for 1 minute u actually trust and believe what this guy says . On the other hand after being initially disappointed after watching some Celtic games back from the past year or 2 and listening to a few interviews can't wait to see Ange get going , have a good good feeling about it, it's about time we had someone who wasnt just a yes man and Postecoglu doesn't seem the type of guy to be one of those , we'll have that Japanese striker you've got as well b4 the season starts , big step up in quality so hard to tell how he'll do but looks a good little player who can finish
